Great game! I like the aesthetic. The merge mechanic feels a little slow, but it's very smooth. It also runs surprisingly smoothly.
The only problem I have is that it's difficult to reach the rings on both edge of the screen at the same time.

Oh man this is awesome! What a unique idea and it's pretty well executed too! Perhaps speeding up the split ship (and spreading out the rings a bit) and slowing down the combined ship would help it feel a bit more uniform, or perhaps adding an effect where it feels like slow motion when split apart, something to help it still feel like a racer when going slow enough to catch the rings. Quite a lot of fun. Nice job!

Man the visuals are top notch here, I loved the animation for the merge and really enjoyed the concepts here. I really think your team nailed the jam's theme with this one!
I think perhaps the text size could be buffed to be a bit more readable for those sitting away from the monitor, but other than that I had a grand time playing this :)

Its the merge and move together concept, but the direction is different for others and I love it. Also that brings me back to the 80s time, although I haven't been born yet in the 80s xD

Wow, that's a gem! I love how synthwavish this game is. Also, it is quite challenging and requires high level of concentration to collect all rings, which is great. Graphics and Sound - all well polished. Nice one!

I really like the 80's neon style you implemented in the game. I'm a big fan of this art style and setting.
But i would have liked to play more racetracks with a higher level of difficulty. You also did a very good job of implementing the jam's theme. However, i would have wanted to see more variation there.
Overall i think this submission is very good. Great work.
