How does your game fit the theme?
In Fudge, instead of placing falling tetrominoes, you carve them out of a block of tiles. It's a kind of supratetris; what happens before or above the tetris screen.

Really fun and challenging game. Also a bit addictive. But I think there's too much luck involved. Maybe think of a mechanic to reduce the amount of luck required to clear the board fully, and the game will be much better!
Fascinating concept that's deceptively tricky. Really enjoyed puzzling out how best to clear the board. Excellent work!
Tetris with a twist. I enjoyed the game lots! Simple idea that leads to a unique experience. 10/10
Great game, played it for a long time. Really satisfying and a great spin on the theme. I'd love to see this game expanded on with more options that keep it fresh; for example, I'd have loved to be able to 'lock' pieces when I re-roll, if I have a piece I know I'm going to need after. It would add a layer of strategy to a game that is currently heavily dependent on RNG. The added layers of blocks after a re-roll also have a tendency to go vertical, constantly requiring the long vertical pieces as the only kind that would fit in those spots. I really strived to get down to zero (2 was my lowest score) and ended up feeling frustrated with how impossible the RNG made that. The lack of an overall score (how long I'd been able to survive) also puts a limit on how long this remains enjoyable, also because the difficulty remains the same, so an increase in difficulty over time could also be a good future implementation. Just some thoughts. Overall this game is enjoyable as it is, but with enormous potential to be even better!
I could play this game forever! I love the sounds, they are so satisfying! My lowest score was 6! :D One thing I would like to see though is a more definite end at some point, although I don't know how that would be accomplished. Amazing game, though!!
i spent way more time on this game than i thought i would, it's very chill and i love the idea!
Clever turning Tetris into a puzzle!
Very nice game! Reaching 0 was very satisfying. I suppose I got quite lucky with those last few pieces…
Would absolutely love to see this idea expanded on with additional game modes or whatnot. I love Tetris, and Fudge does a fantastic job of compellingly flipping it on its head.
Very satisfying game, although a bit too much reliant on randomness. I really enjoyed playing it and was curious to find out what happens at the end, even though clearing it completely seemed impossible. Apart from this issue, it's a nice game. Good job!
Really satisfying game! I could imagine this turning into a full steam release if you added more particles/feedback, some new game modes and some unlocks
This is so relaxing, I love it! Favourite game of the jam so far.
Excellent idea and great execution!! really loved it
I was genuinely hooked up on whether I could clear the screen entirely!
Though I made my peace with a lo-score of 1 and called it a day
Very nice game, if a bit too dependent on randomness
FUSTRATINGLY EASY you feel like you should be able to do it easily, but then you get THAT ONE BLOCK THAT WONT GO AWAY AND IS BLOCKING EVERYTHING. >:(
Loved this game. had to peel away to continue rating other games... but I will be back... and I will beat my 15.
Similarly to my score, 15/15 stars! <3
Really satisfying gameplay ! Not so hard not so easy. It might be the game I played the longer for the jam reviews !
Very entertaining mechanics, I did not immediately understand what was required of me, I just clicked on the tiles in the hope of a result, but then I understood how to play and I found it very exciting
Wow this is kind of brilliant. Coolest game I've played so far. I just wish it played a bit more like a traditional puzzle game where you try to survive as it gets harder and try to get a high score. Maybe a row gets added occasionally and when you have to reroll it makes them get added faster?
Really enjoyed this one. I played it for so long trying to clear the last line but just couldn't get it!
I think it would help to conceptualise what's happening if you had the shapes fall down after you make them.
I really liked the game and wanted to find out what happens at the end but yeah its not really possible to clear it out.
We just need to be able to draw the shapes in all directions for it to be less random and more a puzzle
I spent a lot of time clearing it out tho, really nice game. And the animated background is cool tooMy lowest score))
Like everyone said, this is a really fun and unique concept for Tetris given the theme. Also like everyone said, however, it can be a little frustrating when you don't have the right pieces, and the reroll feature can only get you so far. Rotating the pieces might help.
For further feedback, I wonder if you can think about what happens to the pieces you remove aside from simply disappearing outside the screen. Maybe you can save those one at a time and you'd be allowed to rotate it and use it to remove additional pieces. Or more it's just something aesthetically fun. Just a thought.
If you do plan to develop it more, I am eager to see what comes out of it. Great work.
