The concept is incredibly unique, and the design of the turret as both an enemy and ally is truly fantastic. I love it

Developer

A big thanks from the art team for the appreciation on the game's art! It was a very new concept for us to dive into and we're glad it is well received by players! I especially had fun designing the turrets and enemies from our daily life machineries, wonder if you can spot them out ahaha! Once again, thank you for playing out game!

Managed to get 169! I love how upgrading the gun is both a benefit by killing enemies better but also a threat because it gets harder and harder to doge the projectiles. Really awesome game!

This was really enjoyable and I love the retro art style.

Good game, maybe at the start is kinda slow but it turns pretty fun after that.
The leaderboard in a jam game is a pretty good idea too.

Developer

Thank you for your time on our game and your feedback! Through our previous work we learned that having a leaderboard is really a good way to light up the fire in the players' heart, so we decided to throw it in this game! hahaha

The art was spectacular! The retro theme worked really well and the little polish like chromatic aberration and screen shake made it feel satisfying and enjoyable to play. The concept was good, too - the turret shooting at you was a very unique concept and was very fun to play :)

REALLY FUN AND GREAT GAME!!!! I love how you chose your own death XD I found it reaaly fun and original mechanics. The style and music also matches the gameplay surprisingly well! great job!

Wall bouncing was definitely not the optimal choice for my run, but it was definitely the fun choice. That chaotic very quickly and I appreciate that. Great fun

Cool game, nice idea which balances itself

Submitted(+3)

i'd argue that the role reversal is eh, but the game in itself is very good and addictive, almost got on the leaderboard

Very polished game. IMO, Too much screen shake that makes the game at the end not feel like a bullet hell / precision game.

I feel like the turret doesn't quite make it feel like like a role reversal, but the game itself is very polished and fun! Particularly good presentation and audio.

Developer

Thanks for playing! The original idea was a guy with a gun in an endless horde, you upgrade yourself to kill more enemies. The reversal part is the gun shooting at you instead, and upgrading the gun is now also harmful to you. I think it's less clear when we changed the gun to a turret, but I think it fits better visually.

Levels progression feels so natural because you choose what comes next
