Knowing the game snake, my first instinct was to make the snake run into its own tail, so it was shocking when it went straight through!! But once I realized the goal of the game is was fun maneuvering and making sure I had escape paths once the snake got really long. Nice design!

As for the theme:
Instead of playing the snake eating the apples, you're the apple feeding the snake.
His example in the video was "pong but you're the ball"....so you're playing Snake, but you're the apple.
