How does your game fit the theme?
Tired of playing games? Try pausing one! This is a puzzle platformer where glitchy menu buttons are the only method of control, and the player is asked to become a pauser.

Loved that twist and the great puzzle design, also the mechanics changes were really cool!
Level intro panels are also just perfect ^^
And the changing music is perfect for immersion :)
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at the vod again in the future here it is timestamped to your game
Great concept, well executed! Puzzle are interesting. Excellent job!
Cool idea, really enjoyed it. I just with I could have played using keyboard keys, because some parts require very tight timing which is hard to do by clicking buttons with a mouse.
Very cool game! I like the connection between each individual mechanic you introduce, the story behind developing and patching a broken game, and the actual gameplay in the level. You managed to resolve every new step with exactly one text message. Amazing job on cute visuals and sounds as well, game looks very nice!
Oh god. I did not expect this game to be so fun to play. Absolutely loved it!
Other than the UI buttons not being tied to the keyboard, it's really hard for me to nitpick anything. It's just that good of a jam entry.
Also loved the fact that there's a coherent story being told throughout the description and the game itself. A whole imaginary world with a fictional game studio and a fictional prequel — how cool is that!
Great job, would gladly play anything from the team going forward <3
I also loved Spared -- what a wonderful job! I'm following you on itch just in case you make an update because your game was fantastic!
Since you liked this game, I wanted to let you know that we're working on an update where we're adding new mechanics and new levels!

This is a very interesting concept. Some of the levels took me multiple tries to beat, trying to find the correct order of pausing the player/enemies and speeding up and resetting the player. Some stages (especially the last one) got pretty difficult to switch between the buttons quick enough and I died a few times from not being able to input 2 commands fast enough, maybe also linking these controls to hot keys would solve this. Honestly other than that there isn't much to say about it. The game plays well and has a good difficulty curve from adding new mechanics/changing what the current mechanics already do. I wouldve happily kept playing until I reached the end, so I wouldn't complain if you added more levels! Also the Dev comments at the start of each level was a good touch and made me laugh a couple of times
Pretty original and fun idea with constantly changing rules. Gets pretty tricky towards the end, but not to a point where it gets aggrevating. As others pointed out, keyboard shortcuts would be great, since towards the end you have to flip between multiple buttons really fast, but it's not big of a deal, since i managed to finish the game regardless.
Love the humor and execution, feels like a finished game, great job!
Such a charming game! I love the dev comments and hold themd ear to my heart hahahaha
I love the take on the theme, it's super creative and unique! The mechanics of the game are very fun, and I had hoped someone would make a game with intentional "bugs". I've only seen one other game with a similar concept.
Congrats on the great game guys! Stellar work.
Loved it! Great spin on the idea and I loved the jokes explaining why mechanics changed between levels. Incredibly charming, fantastic job!
Just wanted to say that we loved The Tutorial, so it means a lot to us that you liked our game!! Congrats on getting shown in the video by the way!!
We also wanted to let you know that we are working on an update right now to add new mechanics and levels to this game!
Feel free to follow me on itch if you want to see this, and more from us!
Also, I'm going to follow you because I really hope you add more to The Tutorial, and I'm excited to see what else you make!
Excellent game! It's a bit hard to click the buttons quickly enough, so maybe there could be keyboard shortcuts. Otherwise, this is a really creative idea. Well done.
Wow! I don’t often play game jam games all the way through, but this one had me hooked right to the end. The concept is incredibly creative, the writing is sharp and topical, and the puzzles are solid. If I had to give one critique, a few of the puzzles relied on some tight timing, but that’s just a nitpick. I loved how the writing and gameplay intertwined - I could imagine I was a Radish Boy fan disappointed by the new game, lol.
One of the most creative games I’ve played this jam, excellent work!
We're so glad that you played through the whole thing!!
If you want to see more...
We're working on an update right now to add keyboard bindings (to make tight timings easier), new mechanics, new levels, and maybe, just maybe, a new radish or two 👀

Love the sensor of humour in the game, the notes really do move the game along, and provide hints! The levels are well designed. Good job on a unique game! :D
Nice, the mechanics were very convincing, it looks like genuine bugs! Also love the sarcastic patch notes.
