Very impressive work for 48 hours. Art and sounds looking good. Also presentation is good. Gameplay can be improve. I  don't understand why you made the controls what they are. / very funny and clever idea

What a beautiful game! The 3d models are amazing! The tank controls for the rat needs more work, but other than that great result for 48 hours, well done.

Very impressive work for 48 hours.  Like others have said, the tank controls for the rat are awkward and bog down the whole thing.

Ok, so first off, amazing job creating all these 3D assets for the jam. I also love how you put the level together. I can see you really thought about how the player would traverse the environment. I also appreciate the little "secrets", like the storage room accessible via the vent.

However what really pulls this game down are the controls. I think you have enough substance in here without the weird inertia based movement. It's really hard for me to get into the mindset of exploring the environment and putting together the meal, when the controls are such a constant roadblock.

Wow this is just awesome. The presentation is crazy good if you guys truly made it all in 48 hours. Very good job! As others have said, the controls are a bit wonky, but other than that, I have no complaints really.

Very fun idea and exellent presentation! The controls are overcomplicated in my opinion, that really prevents from completing the game in a short jam-voting session. But love and effort that you put in this game are clearly there. I like that no instruction needed, all tutorials are seamlessly built-in, and you made sure that there's no fail state, and the player can continue from any fall without restart, that's super nice.

Now this is just a incredibly creative and fun idea, and just the fact that you've managed to make so many actually good 3D models and a working game is honestly astounding. Fantastic work!!!

This game is really cool and I really love the concept! It is especially impressive considering you made all of this during the jam! I understand why you made the controls what they are, but in my opinion they don't really need to be that complicated.

The work you have done in 48h is amazing! The graphics and audio of the game are so perfect. I can't pick any problems except for the very strange feel of the controls that prevented me from moving successfully to some of the places I wanted to go.

Haha amazing, thanks for making this

Get out of here! Y'all just made a full game in 48 hours! This is ridiculously polished, it's a funny idea and execution, I like that you decided to give the lil' chef no pants for some reason, I like that you built a working record player that you can spin on, everything about this is absolutely off the rails! 11/10 IGN

Thank you so much! We all worked very hard in the 48 hours. Glad you enjoyed it! The record player is fun to put the Ratatouille on haha. Thanks for playing! -Kaylee

Alright alright, this game is great. You guys did amazing work! The art and music is wonderful and the animation is just absolutely adorable with the little guy bouncing behind as you gathered speed! The controls might have felt weird, but I think it actually was for the better of the game. Gave it a bit more of a goofy feel. Some tweaking here and there is always possible of course, but all in all, well done :)

Don't know how to open the can though.. :D

Developer

Thank you so much, everyone did so well on the project and I am so proud of everyone! There is a can opener right next to where the pizza paddle is, some others think it looks similar to a coffee machine. If we do a post jam version I will hopefully make a better model :D - Kaylee

I laughed way too hard at this. Great idea!

This game was very fun! A little bit tedious whenever I fell to the floor. But it looks really good and I love the creative idea :)

Glad you enjoyed, thank you! -Kaylee

Wow, it's unbelievable how much you managed to make in just 48 hours! I also love how you used an IP nobody else touched upon (I've seen too many titanic games for example). Only thing I could see is it needing a bit of polish gameplay-wise as the controls were a bit rigid, but overall great!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the feedback! The idea of doing a reverse Ratatouille came really quickly in our planning stage so we decided to just go with it :D Really happy you enjoyed! -Kaylee

The graphics in this game are mind-blowing; it looks incredible, and the gameplay is a lot of fun. The only issue I had was with the tank-like controls.

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy the game, hopefully if we work on a post jam version those will be updated. Thanks for playing! -Kaylee

haha funen rat go zooom also very unclear please label can opener about an hour was spent trying to get the dino to open the can because the dino was on the can :( I wanted to see critic reaction toooo :\ anyways turned out fine after that and can opener looks like coffee maker

Developer(+1)

That is a good point with Minky the kaiju. If we do a post jam release I plan on putting the words Can Opener on the model or just straight up remodeling it! Thanks for playing! -Kaylee

Really fun game. the concept is really fun and works great with the theme. I did however try to turn on the stove for 10 minutes straight, and then figure out I dont have to. but I did manage to complete it. and the dino in the freezer from on of the previous GMTK jams is also really cool.

great game. Keep it up♥

Developer

Really happy you caught the reference to our past gamejams!! We were gonna have the lilwiz, the wizard character from last years game as well but we forgot till after! Also yeah sorry about that, realizing after that it wasn't clear you have to pick up the dish for the stove to open. Thanks for playing!! -Kaylee
