The mechanics are really fun, good start to a rage game!

this was fun! love the art style as well!

I really enjoyed playing it! It would be nice if I could adjust the zoom in and out to make it easier to find planets and know the scale better. Also, I'm still sometimes confused why my orbit is already green but the game still continues.

Developer

If you read the tooltips/instructions, you need all planets to be green but also have the total mass of the solar system to be correct. You can change the total mass and have them all green by making a planet closer or further from the sun, since they would need less/more mass to stay in the green orbit. Hope this helped lol, and thanks for the comment.

this was pretty cool idea, on the second level with making the thing bigger, i had skill issues and could not get the right scale, i did have a ton of fun, the ship controls were a bit chaotic, but i think that's why i liked it so much. good stuff

I really love the take on the theme, I also love these type of "gravitational games". I like the controls that emulate the inertia in space, the art style is also very nice. What's really missing in my opinion is a mini-map the shows the whole star system, that would give a more tactical approach. Right now I'm hoping I'm going the right way and have enough time to fix the orbits. But still fun game, the tutorial and the UI is great and all pretty polished for a jam game.

Love the concept and the game, the music was also super cool

Really cool & clever concept! I do think the controls are a little slidy for a game like this, I would have preferred they were a bit more precise. I also wished the camera was zoomed out way further, to help navigate and see where the orbiting planets are. Overall though, interesting entry :)

Developer(+1)

For the controls,  There had to be a balance between easy controls but also realistic spaceship movement. The friction could have been increase but then it started to feel a bit too jagged for something that is meant to not have any friction. For the camera... yes. I agree. On idea was a minimap but I never got to implimenting that, and yes the camera could've been zoomed out but the adrenaline of the movement may have gotten decrease. Thank you for the feedback!

Great presentation and idea!
It felt weird moving around while being connected to a planet. Maybe this game could be made without the ship and just changing sizes with a touch, more like a mobile game. 🤔 Just an idea, though

Developer

Its possible that it could be made like that, howeverthe complexity of the game would be too low. Some people have already mentioned that the game is lacking comlpexity. If the game did expand with more gameplay, then yes, this could work!Thank you for the feedback.

I really liked the visual design! Like everyone else says, it immediately reminded me of the Kurzgesagt lol! Besides that, you have a really nice game loop that's perfect for a game jam!

Looks nice! Good BGM! A little unintuitive. I had trouble understanding the win condition at first, I expected to get it into the green and just win.

Developer(+1)

Yes, I agree. Thank you for the feedback nonetheless.

Great game man, the art is amazing, and so is the music!

Developer

Hmm, Im not sure i agree with that, I think the execution and all of the programming in general is the real game changer.

Cool entry! And you're right, it was actually a bit similar to ours hahaI really enjoyed  the floaty controls, it made things a lot more intense when you got close to the sun!

Really loved the game, although I had a hard time getting used to the controls. Also, like others said, the art style really reminds me of the Kurzgesagt videos!

Interesting and creative idea! Beautiful artstyle. Reminds me of "Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell".

Gameplay was hard for me, nevertheless an interesting take!

At least, I tried to save space but couldn't :(
Great visuals !

The art style is amazing. The gameplay was a bit tough but the idea is great nevertheless.

Really enjoy the gameplay, the art is really fun

Crazy cool take on the game. Execution was solid, and the art was good too. I did not make it to the end lol, it was tough!

I can admit as one of the developers of the game I find the last level incredibly difficult as well. I have beat it only a few times. Glad you enjoyed it!
