Many games have used this idea but this one was a masterpiece, including 3d dimensions is just amazing.
Ok, this game reminds me of a project I did on my first semester on engineering uni, where I had to build a Lego robot to climb stair steps. Really cool implementation, also
Very cool. Felt like i was playing modern version of Besiege. I love these kind of games so it was really nice to see such game made in that short of a timeframe. The only concern was setting up everything. It is nice to be able to have different controls for each wheel and so on but i would like some kind of default bindings. I guess it is my problem but I do like to get into the action as soon as possible. Going through all four wheel to set up handling and realizing that one side should be reversed in order for it to move forward was a little bit frustrating.
Overall, amazing stuff! Even tough placing parts correctly was not very easy, but game felt polished and I really enjoyed it.
And wheels (traction to the ground) work better than they do in Besiege, so that is something i really loved :D
Yeah, ideally I would have like bindable "actions" to group things together and you'd just set all the wheels to the Drive action and it would behave the way you want, but I struggled enough getting the existing system to work :P
Glad you enjoyed it <3
I really enjoyed playing your game; it reminded me of playing Besiege, which I also liked. This scratches the same brain itch! I found it to be quite challenging - which I really liked because it always makes me actually engage with the game, rather than churn through it.
The environment and style is also super pleasing. Good work!
Despite having an engineering degree I failed at peak engineering xD
I had a good laugh tho!! Great game!
I am too dumb to complete the game, but this is one of the best application and execution of the theme I have seen so far. Great job!
I feel like a monkey building a car. This is really crazy well made.
Incredible game, love it!
I like this very literal take on the theme haha. This is cool; I haven't gotten far yet but I might come back to it and try it some more.
Calling this QWOP but cars would be an understatement; great game, very challenging but enticing!
A really cool game and a creative interpretation of the theme! There are enough parts to make room for a ton of creativity. The logo is really clever, great job!
It's definitely a hooking idea and absolutely fun to try out different things. I like the cozy feels and overall the style, well done!
Hey, I feel a bit stupid but after putting all 4 wheels on my car I can’t figure out how to start it, how can I do that?
When you're in the Build Mode you can mouse over the wheels individually and a little box should pop up next to your mouse. Those are the actions available for the wheel, specifically rotating clockwise and counter-clockwise. If you press a key it will be assigned to that action, and then you can use the scrollwheel to select the other action to bind a key to.
This game is right up my ally
It's wild to me that a game like this was made in only 4 days! This is really cool! I'm a sucker for building games, even if I don't have the brainpower to get really far into it right now.
Interesting game, beautiful lighting and scenery, although super challenging
This jam for me was about 20% manic coding and then 80% trying to get the game to be actually playable and not just a nightmare 😅
I thought the building mechanics would be the hardest part but it was the controls and driving that drove me crazy :P
Hey, it is great! Smooth aesthetics and control! I needed some time to get used to the building part, but overall great game!
Wow this was amazing! Have you got any plans for the 3D game features? I have made a GDD about something like this in the past.
Thanks to everyone for trying my game :D
You rock! Having a blast with it, such a good game.
