How does your game fit the theme?
We incorporated the theme “Built to Scale” in our main mechanic. In “Bureau of Appropriately Sized Facial Features” players change the scale of the game characters’ facial features by grabbing them with a mouse click and dragging their mouse left and right across the screen. The goal is to match the ratio of facial features as presented in the Beauty Standards. The game is built to enable players to scale facial features.

A storyline and progression in the same vein as Papers, Please would work really well with this I think. There’s also potential to have some interesting character stories too (like in that game) with dialogue for some unique characters.

Very unique style and artsy feel! Difficulty landed really well imo. It was really funny when they suddenly came out with the decimal points :)
thank you, we briefly considered adding equations etc to fuck with players more but alas we stuck with the decimal numbers
Really creative and the art is really good! It felt a bit hard to gauge what exactly the ratios wanted (is it width? height? is it the the hair to each eyebrow or both?) and I'm still not certain on what the little squiggle was, but this was really well put together. Great job!
thank you, the squiggle is supposed to be the symbol for hair but you’re not the only one who had trouble figuring that out, we have noted it

oh wow the game is incredibly well made, amazing take on the theme. I agree with other commenters, it does remind me of Papers, Please in the best way possible. and the art is wonderful

The scores I would get didn't really match what I thought I got at all. Maybe the game is just difficult but the scores I got felt kinda random (I know they're not I'm just going off feels)
