How does your game fit the theme?
We incorporated the theme “Built to Scale” in our main mechanic. In “Bureau of Appropriately Sized Facial Features” players change the scale of the game characters’ facial features by grabbing them with a mouse click and dragging their mouse left and right across the screen. The goal is to match the ratio of facial features as presented in the Beauty Standards. The game is built to enable players to scale facial features.

The visuals are really fantastic. As far as this jam goes, definitely one of the more unique games visually.
I played this with my younger brother and we both found it really fun and interesting. The mechanics were easy to grasp and there was no confusion as to what we had to do. As far as helpful feedback goes, Perhaps the eyebrows are sometimes hard to find if the character has a large hair piece.
It is very polished and there is a good level of visual juice that made each case fun.

yes i agree that would have been amazing. in the end we decided for those scales to a) have every feature be reachable and have as little overlapping as possible and b) to simplify assessing the proportions
but i understand the urge ^^

Haha originally we wanted to have a little picture of you as the employee somewhere and if you click it you can design your own face. Unfortunately time was playing against us.

Fun gameplay, love the little decimal points, and the progression curve is nicely done. Could be cool to play with numbers further by using more complicated fractions to really make you think ! Very nice drawings too, and the sound effects are fun :)
Thank you for your kind feedback :). Originally the plan was to add more weird numbers the longer you play with ratios like 2 : 32/13. unfortunately we did not have the time for that.
The gameplay itself is quite difficult. But i do enjoy the sound and visual design.
In the end if you have fun you are playing the game the right way :). The goal is to enjoy making weird guys instead of matching perfect ratios
