How does your game fit the theme?
Tongue Tied Tale is a platformer game featuring a scaly chameleon who loves to eat! Scale yourself up and down with fruits and potions. Resize platforms to access more delicious fruit. Fight enemies of different sizes! Results may vary depending on your own size. A heavy chameleon can be handy in a scrap, but can also weigh you down, so make sure to keep your eye on the scale!

Lovely style and liked the intro! Controls were a bit hard to get used to. But the idea of managing your weight for the platforming was intersting and creative.

Good work!

Cool art and movement! Very cool intro aswell. Good Job!

I really like the art, it's very cute =)
The physics are floaty indeed, but I think it actually fits the grappling hook theme really well. The resizing mechanic was a bit weird though, it was somewhat glitchy and seemed out of place, but I think it just wasn't implemented as well as it could be.

Nice Game! Very cute intro. Physics are a little floaty but not uncomfortable.

The beginning sequence was well-made! Physics feels a bit floaty for me, but it has room for player experimentation!

Cute style. Movement is pretty good though I couldn’t get past the room with the big tree branch for some reason.

Cute art style, movement was fun but I couldn't get past the sliding platforms maybe I was doing something wrong idk

Super cute illustrations and overall art style!

That was cute! It's a little janky in parts, but the movement is engaging. The character art is also charming. Unfortunately, I could not get past the level with the bird; I'm not sure what the lever does.

All-in-all, good work!

The chameleon is so cute ! I love that you added an intro to the game, I love the art so much and the music is also very enjoyable. Great Job !

Lovely level of detail in this, the art and sound design brought me right in. Nice one!

it's cute, almost feels like a flash game.  it lacks the sharp controls and feel of a really good platformer, and the "puzzle platformer with a resizing character" has been done quite a few times in this jam, but the block resizing and tongue added something fresh.  a li'l janky in places, but a great effort and an enjoyable game nonetheless.

Super cute art and story! Did not manage my weight perfectly but it was easy to go ahead and check what size you needed to be.
