Very high quality game with fun mechanics and pretty art/music. I was admittedly a little worried when I saw that growing and shrinking was bind to the arrow keys but it felt surprisingly intuitive.

Developer

Haha, honestly same. Controls on smaller games has always been my bane of existence. Could never get used to WASD controls. So I'm super glad our dev added the possibility to change control keys. I could map things to top down arrows and even with mouse controls as well. The first try I had these without the custom keys were horrible lol. I'm glad the up down arrows ended up working for you!

The controls and gameplay feel really intuitive! The pixel art is one of my favorites so far! Incredble job!!!

Thank you very much!

Beautiful graphics and clever game design .I managed to get softlocked with glitched library near the button on the start of level2.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah haha, we didn't get to fix that one. But it's possible to wiggle out of it by changing sizes.

I really like how this used the theme in a literal sense. Moving faster and jumping higher when smaller, and stronger while big! And i like the little details you added, like idle animations. Great game.

Developer

Thank you for playing! We decided to do it in the literal sense in the most straightforward manner, since we wanted to focus more on making the game controls feel more comfortable to use, intuitive and polish the experience. Glad you enjoyed it!

Great game! Love the sprite work, and very impressed how you combined some simple easy to pick up mechanics into some pretty complex interactions/puzzles. Could definitely see this being taken further!

Developer

Thank you very much! We definitely plan to take it further after the jam, especially since we had so many ideas we weren’t able to add during the jam!

The art style is absolutely stunning and it's a super smooth game mechanic to scale down / up! It's super polished too! :D Smol' Alice is so cute... Love it!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you very much for the compliments! Especially our dev had worked very hard on making the mechanics smooth, so it makes us both very happy to hear that! Glad you liked the art as well, that’s very encouraging! Thank you for playing!

love the art style and concept. fit with the theme. very enjoyable

the theme has been interpreted in a super creative way! i really like the art and the music is super cool too. I like the fact that changing size also affects the weight and lightness of the character. I didn't manage to finish because I got lost, but that's okay! great game!

Developer

Thank you very much! I’m very glad you enjoyed it! This has been brought up during testing a bit, so we’ll keep note and find ways to make the paths more clear. Which part did you get lost at?

Loved the art and the music! The controls also felt really smooth

Developer

Thank you very much! We spent a lot of effort just to fiddle on the controls and get feedbacks on them to make sure it was enjoyable. (Our dev worked a full day on this haha) I'm so glad the final result felt smooth!

Submitted

I like it! And similar idea as we have :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, it seems it's a very popular idea! I always figured many people would use size as a literal mechanism, but I am still blown away but the amount of games with this mechanism. But they all come with their unique twists that makes each of them very enjoyable to play!

Too many shrooms in this girl's diet! ha I enjoyed this. I challenging game but fun to play. Congratulations.

Developer

Maybe if she had a bit more shrooms, she could have grown big enough to destroy the castle instead haha. Thank you for playing! Glad you liked it!
