How does your game fit the theme?
Built to Scale : Management game, the more the player advances, the more resources he gains, the happier the villagers are. The more the zones of influence of each building grow so that the player has more room to place his decorations. The more villagers gain levels, the more powerful and larger they become, like players.

A lovely and distinct games from the other entries I've seen. Contains really good graphics, sound effects, the concept of the game and link to the theme is also very creative.

It will be a pleasure  if ypu play and rate my game as well.

Very cute style, I loved that you could decorate the places, wish it had more decorative pieces but overall super nice game!

Loved this game!
It is such a fantastic art style, very cosy and cute!
I can't help but build more. :D The music is great and helps you get lost in the game. Kudos to everyone very lovely.

I have to say, the specific sub genre of "games where you manage a town for simulated RPG characters" has been one of my favourite ever since I played Kairosoft's Dungeon Village, and it's been something I've been trying to pull off myself for a few years now. Love to see a jam entry that fits in with that, and has the most perfectly chill art, music, and just general vibes.

I wish there were a bit more information available on what to do, or what effect building things was having. I could upgrade buildings by adding enough flowers, but wasn't sure why I was upgrading them. And sometimes I couldn't build things but wasn't sure why either. I think a few tooltips, or prompts when you can't do something, they'd go a long way. Even just having more checklists past that first one would be great.

No doubt you probably wanted to add those but didn't have time, always the trouble with a gamejam! But it's a great entry either way.

If you took Majesty, made it less annoying and more cutesy, this is what you get =)

Hard to believe this was made in 96 hours, I'm super impressed!

Heyyy, fellow management game devs :D

Only problem is that the game doesn't explain itself. Like, what are we building, where are we, why are we.
Other than that, great job! I know these games are hard to create, and it honestly ended up great!

A great-looking game with an amazing style. Would want a little tutorial though~

Developer

100% agree, we had a big lack of time.. we will correct that for the next jams.

It's much too important, and you have to take the time, even to cut features. :D

Thank you for your feedback <3

Truly gorgeous art work, with a soothing soundtrack and chill gameplay! I would have liked a little more direction in what effects the different building types provide. But overall, this was lovely! Great work!

Cozy Realm is a delightful experience, perfect for anyone who loves a very relaxing management game. The music sets a soothing tone, and the atmosphere really lives up to the game's name—it's the kind of place you'd want to hang out in.

The art is lovely, with lots of well-stylized sprites that bring the starting zone to life. It's fun to watch your zone grow as more players arrive. Overall, Cozy Realm offers a charming and peaceful way to unwind. Great work!

The music and vibe is so relaxing, I really feel like I'm being wrapped in a warm blanket playing this game. I enjoyed building and decorating things, it really blows me away that you guys managed to create this atmosphere in such a short amount of time! I wanted to help the villagers who had the exclamation points but nothing happened when I clicked on them, not sure if I was just missing something. Overall the game is great, truly impressive :)

Lovely art, lovely game!

The only thing that I would like to be changed is how little I felt I was interacting with the villagers. I was building things for them but I wasn't able to manage them directly nor indirectly.

Still a great game, congrats!

Thank you very much for your feedback, I think yes that this is one of the main areas for improvement: feedback on construction, what the NPCs think

Thank you again for your feedback, it helps us a lot to improve the game <3

Love the art! It's super cozy and relaxing and the music is nice too. Enjoyed it!

Honestly very adorable! I love the way the tutorial is set to be not intrusive but makes sure you got all the basics. I do wish it came with a bit more verbal instructions though. But overall, very cute and relaxing!

Developer

thank you very much for your feedback, the tutorial took this form due to lack of time :D glad you like it anyway. But yes, instructions are missing, we need to improve it :D

This game is really impressive! The art is gorgeous and the atmosphere is incredibly cozy. I initially struggled to get into the flow, probably because I haven’t played many MMORPGs, but once I understood the chill, laid-back nature of the game, I enjoyed building and decorating. More variety in decorations and maybe adding some quests or a bit more story for the NPCs could enhance the experience. The game is very well put together for a jam project, with great visuals and music. It definitely has the potential to become something really cool if you keep developing it!

Thank you very much for your feedback, it’s a great pleasure to read,  <3

but yes clearly we need to improve the start of the game. :D

A very pretty game! I have to admit I never quite got in the flow, which I think might be partly due to the fact that I haven't played a single MMORPG in my life. Took me a while to realize that this was really mostly a chill cozy game and there wasn't a lot of strategic decision making involved, but I do respect that. I think a little more variation in what decorations you can build would be nice in the long run, but I'm already pretty impressed by the large amount of high-quality sprites you've produced in such a short time, so I know it's a bit much to ask for. In the long term, it might also be fun to maybe add quests (for the fake players) or something and maybe a little more story for the fake players, for example players exiting the dark forest wounded and then visiting the inn to heal up or something like that so that it's easier to build an emotional connection with those characters. I think it's not quite there yet, but I do believe this game has potential to become something really cool and I'd love if you continued to work on it post-jam.

Oh excellent feedback, I noted everything ! A huge thank you for your comment, it will help us a lot :)

I agree with your feedback, we also had an idea to add a fake chat to push the MMO rating (but obviously lack of time)

For later maybe

Thank you very much for your super cool comment.
