This is one of the best games I've tried for this jam. It seemed pretty simple and straight-forward for the first levels but then I realised I had to think ahead how the level should look and play several notes together at the right time to make it. Level 4 especially felt like learning an instrument. Challenging but very rewarding and satisfying. If expanded, this could make for a really nice full puzzle game. Good job!

cant express how creative and polished this game is. Its the perfect example of having and idea and being really well at executing it. I would've loved more levels for my addicted ahh. Amazing game...!
I've found this challenging but in the best way possible, as if some of my braincells were being connected for the first time while I struggled with it hahah. Amazing design and execution one of the best jam games I've played, I did the 4 levels but would have kept playing if there were more
Such a unique take on the theme. But it reminded me of why I quit music...
There's a fairly high amount of polish in the jam game. Some feedback though would be that the game play was a little awakened when releasing the other note. like it felt like there was a little bit too much of a pause and made me doubt what I was meant to do.
But other than that you have a very solid game on your hands, would be interested in seeing how this idea could be expanded on and if maybe other musical elements could be added like some rhythm parts.
Such a sick idea! I agree with the others when they say that the jumping is a bit off but if you fix that this would be such a perfect game with more levels! I imagine how cool it would be if you were able to hook up a MIDI keyboard and play as well :D -Kaylee
Super creative and well executed! That last level took me a few tries, there was a lot to think about at once haha. Minor gripes - the jump is a little unreliable, especially on the edges of blocks, and a hotkey to start recording would have been nice - clicking the button and rushing to get my hands in place was a bit stressful, but overall, this was really cool! Really well done!
Wow! This is wonderful! So calm and thought provoking. I love after I've made a bad path going back and thinking about what I can do better and then my brain breaks as I press 2 keys at the same time lol. This is 5/5 in everything for me! Great job!
Loved this! I think my favorite level was the last, because it was challenging enough for me to retry a bunch of times, but not too much to deem it impossible or frustrating. Had to write down on paper the combination I thought would work best to solve it. This looks like it would have potential for a full game. I think it would've been a cute detail if all the notes you rescued at the end had sang together in harmony as thanks haha. Good job with this!
Very original and nice concept for a puzzle platform game. The level design forces you to think carefully about your note placement. I would love to see more levels and mechanics in the future! :)
Great opportunity to try and practice my music theory! I loved the game and thought it's really creative! Did notice that the quit button does the same as the start button ;). I don't have a lot of criticism to give apart from maybe a few more levels!
Really great take on the theme - the world being the interface of a DAW and jumping on the piano roll notes is really unique, I loved it!
Really love this game. The difference between planing and the execution made me have to think very carefully. Good job
This games feels pretty much perfect to me :O Level 4 was quite the challenged but I got through it.
By the way, do you know you can add a video on the itch page? I believe you add it in “edit game” and then display it in “edit them”.
This is super cool idea. I really enjoyed this. I tried to recreate Saria's song in one of the level. It's very cool. I wish there are one or two instruments. I can see this game being make into a full product
what a cool concept… music scales has been my favorite interpretation of the theme by far
the game UI looks so much like a real DAW too, lots of attention to detail
I only have very very minor nitpick that the curtain animation is a bit too long and that gets annoying on retries
really excellent entry
