How does your game fit the theme?
copix is a puzzle game where you have to change the size of the objects around you to reach the goal BUT when you change the size of an object you take its size. you have to be careful to not get stuck because of your size. the game constantly plays with scales

Quite fun, and nice graphics! The scanning was sometimes buggy, e.g. in the first level I was able to switch sizes with the first block and then back (at which point I understood the mechanics) but then I could not get large again using the block until a game restart.

Developer

thanks

Very clever! I liked that the number of times I could copy an object were limited. It made me think 3 steps ahead when trying to find the solution to a puzzle.

Developer

thanks you for playing!!!!! : )

Developer

thanks.

Neat game, though I feel the scan ability was a bit off, it felt like quite a few times I'd hit the scan button and nothing would happen, and pushing stuff felt a little rough as well. Could definitely turn into a pretty neat puzzler if you choose to make it a full game though, the puzzles were really unique and definitely took me some time to think through!

Really cool concept! I never was very good at puzzles and sadly got stuck on the water falls, I got past them but never in the door.

Developer

yes, if you're too tall you won't fit through the door. you'd have to be medium height. thank you for playing!

I played, as promised. Great work! The style reminded me a little to the original pixelated style of Untitled Magnet Game. Have a nice day! It was quite hard, though.

Developer

thanks!!:)

Really cool idea! also I like that water kills the robot, what a clever variant on the fire and spikes!

I love the screen shake when you are big! A nice touch!

I definitely needed the hints on the wall, so those were nice, but maybe a way to help would be some visual distinction about things that are resizable (ie outline etc)?

Overall, the puzzles were interesting and satisfying! Also I thought the movement and platforming controls were snappy and nice.

thank you very much for playing!: )

Really nice puzzles with a great amount of polish. The only thing I would potentially recommend it arranging textures to have conservation of pixels.

Developer

thank you for playing!!

Really cool game! its a unique concept with copying the objects scale to change it. Makes really interesting puzzles. Good Job!

Thank you very much!:)

Fun game, I like the concept! The puzzles are overall well designed up to the level with the red laser running sequence. It didn't really seem like I could do anything (or had time to do anything) to get through the second section of that level, so that's as far as I got.

I love the tutorial graphics, while they might not be enough for everyone to understand how things work they do tell enough in a pinch for you to put the pieces together!

A minor suggestion to improve the control feel is to increase the player's acceleration. Snappy controls in a puzzle game really help make things go more smoothly.

Developer

the level with the laser is the last level you have to drop the wooden block

then scan through the wall the basket to become small and continue, it's true that it's really not intuitive but I think that by putting the panel which explains that you can scan through the wall it would be clearer, thank you very much for playing and thank you for your very useful comment!:)

Fantastic game. I felt the puzzles were the perfect level of difficulty where I had to think on them but they didn't feel impossible, which is a very tricky thing to do and immensely impressive whenever pulled off right. Well done!

You make me want to cry with joy, thank you very much for this comment!

Really nice idea and well executed! I'm probably not the smartest person but the puzzles are a bit hard, very satisfying when you solve them tho :)

Developer

thanks !!: )

It's a very good puzzle game, I enjoyed playing it, even if I spent a bit of time on some levels, I think it's mostly because I'm dumb 😅. Anyway, I really like the theme and the pixelart and the cute little robot.

Cool game, but I can't go past the second level. Fan doesn't change scale :(

Developer (1 edit)

if you're the same size as another object, it won't change size - there are only 3 sizes in the game: medium, small and large. for the fan, the small size deactivates the fan; the medium size is the basic size, and the large size allows you to go much higher.thanks for playing :)!
