This game is a great response to the scale/building theme. I love the building mechanic and the zoom out at the end of an attempt. For me the jetpack physics made the game a little too difficult, but it was still very playable and fun. Great work!
That was really cool and fun. I like how it's a balance of aiming at the object, timing things to build the tower the right way, and platforming to avoid getting trapped or falling. It did make me think of Tricky Towers, but even more chaotic, which makes the end result more interesting. Here's my final tower:
Beautiful Tower <3
I really like the style of this game! You've got great calm music and fittings sound effects as well. It feels good to strategically stack the tower, but I wish there was a way to break blocks even if it was super limited. That or a quick way to reset the round. I accidentally caged myself in and had to wait awkwardly for the camera to catch up so I could start another round.
Overall I really like this game, you kept the scope small and were able to polish. Awesome job!
Thank you, we agree! Adding a block breaking mechanic was one of the first things we realized after putting this together. If only there was more time haha!
i like it! it plays well, and gets challenging near the top. my biggest issue was that the camera doesn't pan upward if i'm outpacing it, so if i'm doing well, i get punished by having to wait for the camera to slowly catch up with me. i saw there was a timer, so i'm guessing the original intent was to have it be a score that you could aim to beat, but i couldn't find any way to make the camera go faster. but you did a great job, this entry is stylish and fun!
So many things we wanted, so many things we had to cut 😭
Great game and very well designed! It felt like every mechanic was built around the game's concept and needs, which was great. I also loved how its a different take on a concept as simple as Tetris. Great job!
Very fun to play twist about classic tetris game. Creative interpretation of the theme. Everything is polished and well designed. Great work!
Fun little Tetris-like game! Love being able to fly around and shoot down the pieces where you want! A suggestion to fix the getting stuck issue is to have right click break blocks instead of shooting them down. Or you could even made the same shot break it if you hit the same thing twice! Could add an extra level of difficulty.
We have had a few ideas on how we would like to expand but I really do like the idea of breaking blocks. Maybe not on the tower but while they fly above so it still takes some skill to manage how the tower is built while you are climbing. I am not sure but I'll mention it to the team. Thanks again!
I like the concept a lot. Sound design was excellent, and I love the aesthetic.
I found the platforming a little frustrating at times, especially because it was easy to get stuck under things.
I like that you can walk in the void. Also i liked the main mechanic and making your path is fun and unique ! Cool game !
I really loved this game. The concept is very unique and I really enjoy the idea of creating your own terrain in a platformer. I'd love to see this idea developed even further. Great job to the team!
Thank you so much that means a lot to hear!!!
Such a fun premise and gameplay loop - The jetpack made things just about the right level of difficult, and I finally got a clear my third attempt. Super good stuff, aesthetic is on-point, and it stays just fantastically frantic the whole time without being overwhelming. Awesome job on this one!
I really liked the art, and it was very nice seeing the entire tower I built at the end.
I wish the blocks became a bit different as you advanced, as it became a bit repetitive.
But otherwise it was very fun and I loved scrambling to get more blocks when I almost died.
Beautiful visuals and a really interesting combination of a few game styles to fit the theme. Nice work!
Really nice game that feels good to play. My only issue is no border of the level at sides. So many times I flew up there and I wasn't able to see my character.
Otherwise it was fun to play and game was really well polished.
This game is super cool! Very neat interpretation of the theme, scaling your way up. I had lots of fun played it for a solid 20minute but still couldn't finish it, I'm very bad HAHA thank you!!
Wow this is actually impressive!
A really nice take on the theme with a simple idea that is actually very fun and replayable, loved it!
The graphic looks nice, and the sounds really feet the atmosphere!
Good job, really had fun while playing it :D
sadly couldn't get to that black hole, im on a bit of a rush and had to stop :((
The aesthetic is really cool, and I never thought to make a shooter that drops block. Great job!
It would be awesome if you could rate my game too!
Awesome!
Took me 5 tries to beat. I kept getting stuck, or simply falling off. Love the music, Love the art, love the gameplay. Some times, the gun wouldn't shoot which was annoying when I was trying to time things. The story concept is really cool too. Good Game!
Really well polished and fantastic art. I will say, it is a little bit too easy to just hug the left wall and shoot anything above you, basically skipping all the timing/strategy. This could be solved with other things falling, e.g. spikes, maybe some enemies, etc. to spice things up and keep the player on their toes. That's just me backseat designing though. Overall, it's a great entry :)
Oh really great catch! Yeah we were hoping for some more enemy variations but that strat is new so good stuff. Thanks again for giving our game a try :)
Clever idea, well implemented! Nice one.
