Really cool idea. I absolutely love games where you have to optimize your approach in order to get the most out of them. The visuals are also really good, and I really appreciate the simple but well-understandable UI. This can really make or break a game. The overall atmosphere is also nice.

I have to say, though, that at the beginning, it was kind of hard to understand what to do, so a small tutorial would be awesome. But I get that's a lot to ask for in a jam.

Besides that, I think this is a great starting point, and I am really interested to see where you take it from here.

Good job!

Developer

Yea the player onboarding is very poor, thanks for playing ❤️

First things first, thank you for setting the default music volume as low as you did.

I liked the clean and easy to understand UI. I had trouble drawing routes, it felt like I was doing something wrong, but couldn't figure out why. Some feedback on what goes wrong when failing to create a route would be nice, as I didn't think that there would be a max route length until later in the game.

One of the routes I drew didn't get the blue line, but the trade route did count as I saw a ship moving back and forth between the two planets. So not a game breaking bug, just wanted to let you know.

I liked the style too, very pleasing to the eye. The game did feel a bit slow at times, with downtime I just spend waiting, but this is probably me playing the game in a non-optimized way, or perhaps a matter of polishing a bit more in terms of prices for upgrades and such, better allowing the player to get that snowball running. This is also something that I need to look more into in my own game, that's for sure!

All in all a very nice and cohesive game, especially considering that you made it yourself. Well done!

yea the starting route length is maybe a little harsh. Yea totally agree with the feedback, the entire project needs a decent UX/pacing pass.

Thanks you very much for playing!

A little hard at start but really satysfying to play. Great graphics and subtle music. Good job!

Submitted(+1)

Super polished game, wow! Love the art.

Submitted(+1)

That game made me relax a lot, with that music and that art style. I love when it happens. Some little things I can say is that the route making or the power up could have some graphics effects for making it more clear, dunno. But it is a very cool gam

Good idea. The Drag isn't bad but it also isnt too great. Overall good idea and the art style sinks in after a while

Developer

Thanks for playing - what would you improve with it

Submitted

Slightly better UX and details of the planets. sometimes the drag just disappears. A bit better Indication for what's happening within the trade route

Developer(+1)

yea thanks, the drag disappear at it has a max length - its not explained that well. Thanks for the feedback!

I like the pace of the game! The music was subtle, but it kept me engaged, and the art style is nice! Excellent concept overall!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I took way to long to understand the depth of this game, still I got to reach 2M5 easily after. Liked the art, some little details when you zoom-in despite the low-poly and great atmosphere overall. Good job !

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you made it to the end!

Basically openttd in space! I like it

Developer

Yup that was kinda the idea - thanks for playing

Interesting gameplay! took me some time to figure out what's going on but I like the idea!

I thinks its an original idea, it has many things that require your attention like if the planets are compatible, the hazards of asteroids for the routs, yourfuel, quantity ships etc, so that's cool! I agree with anotherr comments that say that the progress it's too slow, but overall, good game!

Submitted(+1)

I like the overall concept, but I had a few issues with some things. I think the rate of progression is too slow, there could've been better tutorialization, and I'm not sure why some routes say "No available trades" on them. I really liked spready my little empire, and how there were different zones I had to avoid and strategize around.

Submitted(+1)

Nice style and great concept. A tutorial would've helped a lot though. Also it's probably only my computer but it was quite laggy, making it hard to interact with

Developer

yea player onboarding is a thing that I need to work on, the performance surprises me as its nothing crazy that's is going on!

Thanks for playing ❤️

Ok, so I believe this is a great start I think it needs two really drive it home. One I think you should add a distance line and how far a route should go. Giving the player the ability to know how far the planets are from the station and the maximum length mix this with a telling the player what resources are going in and out and  these can a great QOL tool. And two is to add events for example your "space station had a vacuum leak and lost some personnel the workers have gone on strike removing some available ships."  This was an example but you should make some good and bad events it would be even better if you let the player choose which events to participate in giving the player freedom of choice. Overall a very relaxed experience and I hope to see a continuation of this game in the future. Happy Programming!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback - events were left on the cutting room floor - and the QoL is a great point as its hard to know those things - thanks for the feedback I appreciate it

Really loved the concept and the presentation

The style of this game is brilliant! As others said, maybe a little more handholding would help ease people in - such as green/red text on supply/demand items if the planet you are dragging from has those supplies it is looking for. I say this because I have the short-term memory of a plant and had to keep double-checking myself.

Developer

Yes agree 100%

Wow, almost 4x game in just 4 days! super fun with many upgrades and. would maybe play around with the sounds a bit, and maybe add colors to the icons so it is easier to differentiate the and maybe ease out the learning curve. But a really great, fun and creative game! GJ! :)

Developer(+1)

Yea the sound design was very last minute - colors for the icons is a great idea.

As said to other the onboarding is a weakness.

Thanks so much for playing!

I'm glad I stuck with this. I really enjoyed expanding all the ships and routes. Fun game! I'll definitely play this again.

Did I get the high score?

Developer

The lower the score the better as its about making the 2.5M the fastest - Thanks for playing

took me a minute to figure it out, but after that it was fun and engaging for a while! beautiful art and post-processing and great ambience.

Developer

Yea onboarding is a poor area of mine... Thanks for playing
