Really enjoyed this one, cool builds! i would love for it to expand further on

The idea is soo cool! I can really feel whether my build is efficient enough by watching two behemoth on the board punch each other every turn. The synergys and the anti-synergys between cards are flavorful, It's so great!

Big fan of the art style! I think you came up with a lot of nice card types for various potential synergies, and it felt very satisfying to watch my amalgam grow larger and larger. Because of the way size carried over between battles from the amalgam, I felt fights were often decided by the way they went the first round, but I still had a lot of fun with this!

5/5. Really liked everything about this game.  I would never use that interpretation of "scale", but i think it was a awsome idea. What a good game.

Really cool and fun game!

Such a cool game. Would love to be able to see every possible card in the game, too see what mad synergies are possible.

Solid game! I did feel it went a bit too heavily into the inscryption theme though and honestly I wasn't the biggest fan of the amalgam cards but that's just me, I feel like the game had a good variety of cards but I wish there were some ways to transform them into different ones permanently or maybe more cards that get bigger over time, it's more fun to have multiple things that increase in size rather than just one, I also felt as soon as I met one enemy my run was over but overall great synergies and the art and sound effects fit perfectly!

Great concept! The overall gameplay is interesting. I could see more potential in this with more card variety, especially at the beginning since you only start with two types.

Simple card game that's easy to learn and fun to experiment with the synergies. Nice job!

This is the first card game I've played in the jam, I like the idea that the cards all combine into one Frankenstein card. I like the cards getting bigger as they increase in value. Some more 'juice' would've been nice, like an animation for the cards getting bigger, or the cards sliding over to the left as they combine. It also seemed impossible to lose, like I always had more size points than the opponent. I like the slime art! 🟩

Oh, this could get quite additive if given more time to cook on it! Really nice design, and the overall vibes were super charming! Good work!

Finally, I found another card game! I also played with the concept of merging cards, but in a very different way. :P

I liked the base concept here and the selection of cards is solid. Progression also feels good, being rewarded with increasingly more complex cards is nicely done. The idea is simple to grasp but to truly master synergies you need to think of different interactions and optimize your deck so you can pull off the crazier combos. This theme was tough for card games, but I think you captured it in a good way. Well done!

Actually, one of my favorite games of the jam so far! Ferret Mage + Slime is op if you can get it. I loved the music and art and felt that it all worked well together.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Ferret Mage is also my favorite card, and when you get epic cards it becomes even more op. There is a strategy that I just accidentally found while testing: so the crystal does not x2 the amalgam, and that's because I thought it would be too op. However, you can convert the amalgam into a ferret with the ferret mage, this way you can x2 while keeping its size! Add a repeat card or holy priest and you get pretty crazy numbers!

Wow, that sounds crazy haha. I'm definitely gonna have to try that, and thanks for the tip!

Descent card game. Had fun. I'm not sure what the scale of the card adds to the game yet when the card's value (the scale) is written on the card too. Maybe if the Opponents' cards were facing down and you saw the scale of each card only before they were flipped then you could strategies accordingly?  Cool game :)

Nice card game!

Simple and adorable game! Very to understand, and the pixel art is just so cute!

I like the idea of amalgams but the overall gameplay seems straightforward cuz you just always look for bigger number.

Developer

Hi thanks for trying my game!

You do look for the bigger number, but I tried to make that process interesting by creating synergies between different cards that enable poweful combos, especially in the late game
