Movement speed could be a little faster, but all in all a cool game!
A simulator first-person game in this short time frame??? No way, this is cool! Great idea! As I also had created a simulation game myself before, I understand that sometimes it's very hard to balance some character's balance and movement. It's especially apparent on the giant. But I love the idea and with some tweaks on the physics, this would be a very enjoyable game. Good job!
The core gameplay loop, the music, and the silliness are all really great! The physics are maybe a bit TOO wonky for my tastes, but honestly it sorta adds to the charm. Really fun!
I am amazed with how much yall were able to get done in a short amount of time, despite all of the first-time experiences! Love the music (and Nugget's scream) and simple yet charming style, it reminds me of Giant Boulder of Death lol. If you guys were to ever come back to this project and polish it up, I think adding a co-op feature would be so much fun!
First off, thank you for having a volume slider. Movement felt slow, but the core gameplay loop otherwise seems fun. The music seemed prety sutable for the setting too.
It is really amazing the amount of features development-wise that you got into the game. Considering this was a jam submission, getting all this done in 96 hours is amazing! Great job! If you continue on with development after the jam, I would focus not on adding more features, but instead polishing the assets, and maybe adding a tutorial. Best of luck in your journey!
Gameplay felt a bit slow but the idea is super cool! Love the crafting system
Having two characters of different sizes is pretty cool! The gameplay felt a bit slow for me, but it has a lot of potential. I’d love to play it again in the future!
The crafting pipeline is really insane that you got it done in this amount of time, this a genuinely a great idea with good execution. With some polish your game will be really fun. The music/sfx are also fitting really well, I had a lot of fun playing your game. Nicely done!
Wow you've flushed out a full crafting pipeline in just a few days, what an achievement; you should be very proud of yourselves especially since you learned it on the spot!
I had a great time; the contrast between the big and small was hilarious - movement, music, all perfectly matched. Very nice detail! Actually made me laugh. Great work!
Game's really fun, though as most comments said Bob (the giant) does feel a tad too slow and sluggish, otherwise I had a lot of fun playing this, I think a fully fleshed out version of this game could do pretty well. One of my favorite features was being able to throw Nugget into the void.
The physics are pretty fun, if you polish a bit the game loop this would be a great game! Had lots of fun:

The game feels pretty slow at first, but when you start to optimize your gameplay it starts to really shine. My main problems were the slowness of Bob and throwing your weapon up for the enchantment (this shelf is too high up). But besides that the game is super fun and I want to have this concept truly made into full scale coop game
Concept was great and it was pretty fun! I liked that the two characters had different instruments for their songs, and how it would combine when they were close to each other. My first run I didn't get to complete an order, took me some time to get used to the workshop, but on my second run I got 2 orders in. The one part I didn't really enjoy was the movement, it was kinda too slow, other than that I really liked throwing Nugget around to go get things. The enchantment crystals were a bit weird? maybe I was doing something wrong but they kept disappearing
Either way, a fun game, I would probably play a more fleshed out version, good job! ^^
I thought it was neat how the music changed depending on which character you were. Loved the concept of switching between a large character and small character, where the small character gathered crafting ingredients for the large one to put together (our game had a remarkably similar premise!) Overall, good stuff, I liked the theme of you crafting weapons
Another developer here! This game was a lot of firsts for me, first time making a game, first time using Godot, first time animating in Blender, etc. Doing a game jam has been on my bucket list for a while so I'm proud of what we did. I hope you enjoy despite the the bugs.
I really liked the concept and the graphics. The mechanic of swapping between the giant and the little dude is very cool.
I loved the simple art, and the FRANTIC switching between the two! I will admit the bugs are there, but hey, it's a game jam! You guys should be proud!
I am a friend of the developing team but am sincerely impressed with the game! I get super hype when I play this, I love the gameplay loop of switching back and forth from Nugget to Bob and it adds a great sense of urgency to getting the orders out. The art style is simple but it's very cute, clean and consistent. I also love the narrative of a giant and dwarf working together despite their size. That being said the game does have some pretty detrimental bugs where you might have to restart the game. Easily my favorite part of the design is your ability to throw the dwarf across the workshop to retrieve items quicker or from high shelves.
I was one of the developers! This was really tough to learn all of godot and code in it, but we got this game done! Sorry for all the bugs, but i hope y'all enjoy the frantic back n' forth
