Very enjoyable game - polished feel, good mechanics, seems to have multiple builds that the player can have, I can see myself killing a lot of time playing this. It's has a kind of RoR2 vibe to it, where you can have a TON of replayability, and the super-fun GOD runs. The art and music is also very good, the game already has a lot of juice in it.
Some stuff that can be improved: The "Edit" mode becomes a little cumbersome to use after you stack up a bunch of each attachment and have to connect each one manually. There's also room for a lot of complex enemies - I felt it was a bit simple right now.
Well done. Cheers!
So I eventually picked up whatever this is and it bricked my run, could no longer pick up shields after that.
I did notice that as I continued to play, my performance was getting way worse as well. It seems like things weren't removing themselves if they were out of the player's range or after a certain period of time, maybe?
The difficulty curve was a little harsh at the start as well. It took about a half-dozen times of just dying until I managed to dodge long enough to build something effective.
Overall, I liked the idea; I think it has a lot of potential. I would personally lean more into the building aspect, slow down the combat a bit, and make it a more strategic based on the components you use. I could see myself spending hours playing this with a bit of tweaking in that direction. Good work—solid submission for the jam!
Very good presentation! Visuals, sound and music all comes together very nicely creating great feeling of cosmic battle! Intense gameplay with flasy explosion is what we like) Love the customization options. Wonderful game)
I am really impressed by this game! I am unable to play as I don't have windows and I'm sad about that. All the pictures and video demos are really cool. I just had to make you a rating. It looks incredible and so polished! Stunning work!
Feel free to checkout my game, Tinker Escape. :)
Wonderful presentation, the music and audio are fantastic and the rogue-like building mechanics are great really making you think about how to construct your ship. Great stuff!
I didn't expect it to be so engaging, really! Controls are great, love sound effects and this slow-mo... It got me x)
For a solo made game... Wow, that's an amazing work.
Ah thanks! having a great time with your game too!
Fun game with beautiful visuals and feels very polished! Need a fuller version with objectives to protect cargo going to point A to B or something like that, making it more challenging to survive and protect. Again very nice game! Good job.
Loved building up the ship and ramming into everything once I had tons of shields - super fun!
What a neat project! Certainly one of my favourite builder games I've played so far, and the controls feel very smooth for a 96 hour game! I had a lot of fun with this one. Would love to see it expanded upon, and maybe a little more graphical polish. All that considered, Kudos to your team
Very fun game! I like how the building mechanic allows for different strategies. The most successful strategies for me were to spam thrusters and shields for a "puncher" build, and to spam power generators and have 8 guns in every direction. 5/5 enjoyment, has the potential to grow even more!
OODLES OF FUN! I'd love the enemies' attacks to be a different colour so I don't confuse them with my own, but if you add some objectives and polish it up, i'll be back for more for sure.
Thank you! I'm having a great time making this and definitely have a lot more ideas for it.
FUN GAME! UPDATE MORE STUFF PLEASE :DDD
the idea of building space ship form enemy scrap is cool, give player a lot space to build their own ship. Art and sound is very nice, make me feel like im a real pilot!
when i enter edit mode, the game slow down instead of pause which make me easily take damage :(
heres some thought of what could add to the game(if u have the ambition):
Glad you enjoyed it! I’ve got a ton of ideas that didn’t make it into the game. The decision to slow down time instead of pausing in edit mode was deliberate 😆. Your suggestions mean a lot to me. Thank you so much!
Nice mechanic and good atmosphere and ! Took a bit of retry to get around all the options, but great game nonetheless !
Good job.
Thanks, man! yours is great as well!
WOW!
The fact that you dont limit the amount of things that I could add to my spaceship is awesome! (check the image xd)
Loved the game and your theme implementation!!! One of my favourite ones so far... Awesome job!
H..... How 😆. Thank you so much. I'm so glad that you're having a great time with it ✨
Great take on the theme, good art and sound desing, if you expand it and tweak a little bit the difficulty at the start and progressively adjust it will be a great game. Well Done.
Thanks, man! I wish I had more time to fine-tune the game progression.
Except from the controls I'm really struggling with, everything else is very very good ! Good job !
Thanks! Glad that you enjoyed it.
Wow this game feels great and is so visually appealing. Being about to fly around and expand your ship fits the theme as well. The sound effects and music add onto it being a real fun game to play. A tutorial might be nice just to figure out the controls and stuff in less chaos. Other than that it was a really fun game to play. Great work!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I wish I had more time to work on the tutorial. Thank you so much for this review!
Such a great game! It was really fun. I loved being able to drift, and the expanding your ship mechanic fits the theme perfectly. The controls were a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, the game becomes quite enjoyable. Overall, it's a great game! Congratulations!
Thank you so much for playing! This was my first time joining a game jam as a solo developer. I wish I had more time to refine the tutorials and balance the gameplay. Your feedback means a lot to me. I really appreciate your review! 😇
