To be honest, I won't even be surprised if this game will end up in the top 100.
It's impressive how much content there is here! The visuals and text are relaxing to look at and the animations are very smooth. If you ever decide to expand on this, I suggest trying a "limited moves" feature rather than a time limit. I think that limited moves would fit the game's design better since determining whether to use a sword or gem is like solving a puzzle. It would be a bit hard to balance with the randomization feature though.
You really nailed it, the game is very fun. I don't get far because of the stun area, but that was enough to know that this was fun. The dice not really controlled by the player, it was thrown by the enemy and if you roll it, the probability can be less to your favor. The enemy is few, but has a lot of variety. The art, well it makes the game looks like it was made by more than 5 people.
I wouldn't be surprised if your awesome work win the game jam.
The ammount of content for a 50h game is incredible. Even more so since it's fun, balanced and polished all the way trough. If I had to find a flaw, maybe when you die you could respawn at the beginning of the current floor rather than starting over, but that's about as much as I can say- incredible work, as always :)
Its soooo good
Loved everything about this game! The concept, the gameplay, the different dices probabilities in each enemy, the reroll, even the graphics and sounds are really outstanding!
Realy fun game, I love the way it looks and the mechanic. Simple and creative.
Awesome game, I could really see myself play a lot of it. The art style is good, everything moves around really nicely, and the gameplay is clever and really fun. I did enjoy the stun zone a bit less, it could feel quite punishing given the size of the cursor and the randomness of the dice.
I could say it's my favorite entry so far, which is true, but I haven't tested that many games yet so it's not as big a compliment as I would want it to be!
Lovely game and especially like your art style!
I am amazed that you can do unique gameplay and still make it logical. Reroll might be bit overtuned, but eitherway that is just a small nitpick!
this is such a complete game for 48 hours. all the different characters are so charming too. also it's kinda deceptively hard!!
Absolutely loved the gameplay and artstyle. The game is really polished for a game jam game with a nice variety of enemies each with their own unique battle.
Nice concept, very good looking presentation! Near infinite rerolls seems a little overkill, but aside from that, one of the best jam games I've seen so far. Congrats!
Interesting concept with a nice style and presentation.
You got my first all-stars-rating—5 for Enjoymnet, 5 for Creativy and 5 for Presentation.
Amazing presentation and polish on this one. Love the mechanics in play and the overall idea. I do have some complaints though. Didn't like how re-rolling a die would sometimes give me back a red one. While the area which covers where you can click is a good idea and even causes you to re-roll sometimes since re-rolling bounces it out of the way, there were times where even after bouncing it, it still remained within that area because of the angle at which it was moving.
Despite that though, you've created a lot of content for this game and it is all really fantastic. Amazing job on this
Amazing game once again! Always fascinated by your intuitive concepts that still lead to super interesting gameplay.
Great job as always Kultisti! I honestly can't believe you made this much content for a jam. Amazing! :D
Super fun main mechanic that leads to cool gameplay. And the art is amazing as with all your games!
Super polished and interesting new mechanics! Enjoyed it a lot.
If this is what you made just during the jam time-frame, I can't imagine what this would be like if you continued it! Great work!
