This is a really neat and promising concept, but unfortunately the controls didn't work for me and I couldn't play :(
thats just sad and weird
i hope you dont have a very weird miner or smthng.
Actually it would help if you boot up any other of our games for 5 sec and see if it works
If all of our games dont work then it would be ver very helpful if you send us some particular info or what can unique in your case.
I mean you dont have to do it.
Just if you did, it could be something we missing when building and an oportunity for small but still improvement. You are not the only one person with this weird setup or somthing.
Also, gonna say it again, - your game rocks :)
A very cute little addicting game. It's surprisingly difficult to master. It's a lot to keep track of, with the dot positions being flipped from what you see, to having to keep track of where the points are spawning. The game would have been simpler to understand if you just got points from each die that you survived, but I understand that the dot positions are not in unique enough spots to make that really work. Honestly, I really enjoyed it all around and don't have much to say other than: Good Job.
My high score was getting to 15, seeing what the "bigger challenge" was, and immediately panicking and dying. So yeah... 15.
Getting squished is the worst! Fun game, I would just suggest a gentler difficulty curve to help make the game more inviting. Other than that, I think this is a great submission and can't wait to see how it evolves!
Simple yet very well executed! love the feel of it
The only issue is that -I'm pretty tribble at multitasking- seeing a train coming to smash me, ill be like watching it and thinking what I should do but never acting at the right time (;⌣̀_⌣́)
Maybe its a bit to hard at the beginning.. a slightly easier difficulty curve would be great for old men like me.
The game is really well done, perfect juiciness, cool animations, I want this dice to be my screensaver just rolling from left to right haha.
As for design, I feel like the top and bottom middle dots are useless, it's not gonna happen to have them hit me.
Also first I thought it's the black that the holes that I should avoid but then I found it the reverse.
A small quick red highlighting to what I should not stand on, at first couple rounds would be great so to get used to whatever face affect me.
Prefect Execution, Cute design and a hell of rage game concept. like it! <3
ooh boy.. oh boy. Do I have thoughts on this game!
The take on the theme is fantastic, and the controls not only work well with good responses, but it's also something I've not seen before.
On the negative side, I have no idea why, but this game gives me an unreasonable level of anxiety. The same anxiety I get from playing rythmn games.
The techincal suggestion I'd make is: In the particle system that's making the little ambient particles tick 'pre-warm' in order to make them appear as if they've already been running instead of having them suddenly start emitting as soon as the scene starts. This would add a tiny bit more polish.
Super well made! This game looks clean af with the color scheme, the menu and everything else. The gameplay is simple and very unique and it’s obvious that you designed it very sensibly and understood the struggles of the player (for example the black tiles).
Well done!
Really solid idea, and really solid implementation. Fun to play, and lightweight enough that you won't mind trying over and over again. If I were trying to be overly-critical, I'd say that the initial speed is a bit fast and it might be better to start slower and ramp up the speed, but because it's so quick to restart and get up to 15 points it's really not an issue. Good showing!
really good game i love it the design is also great, way better than my game lol
That was a fun play! I still can't wrap my head around the mirrored effect fast enough though. The two sided die always gets me. Nicely polished and well executed. Good job!
This was pretty fun! The artwork and music were great and the core mechanic was an interesting play on the theme. It did take some getting used to but once that was done, it was smooth sailing from there. For more challenge, I think it'd be cool to add in dice moving along the vertical axis as well.
Oh wow, you're right; sorry I didn't notice before! Maybe once you reach this point, you can transition the playing field into 3D and then send in D120s via all diagonal directions and the Z axis as well for that extra bit of challenge :P But seriously, you guys have a great product on your hands. I look forward to seeing what you guys have in store for us and wish your team the best of luck in your future endeavors!
I really liked this one. Looks good, sounds good and an interesting idea. I made it to the 15 after a few attempts then immediately died. It's quite hard to follow when there's dice coming from both sides of the screen (so I'm assuming it gets very difficult with the 3rd direction).
Number 2 is now my least favourite number on dice, congrats lol
Clever concept and great art. Really hard and almost frustrating in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it it gets a lot better.
Took some time to get used. After getting it it was quite fun however you kinda play on autopilot when you realise only the 2 requires any thinking. Some more variation later would've relieved this problem greatly I think. Overall good game.
Thats a good point. Talk about how I got 131.
We didnt think of that as a big problem since its just feels good to move around, collect, look etc.. Like a lil time eater on your phone. But We were thinking about it and, since we couldnt work on sunday, only added that thing when you reach 15 points. Though that is also kinda brainless when you figure it out.
Hope I didnt spoil anything to anyone right now hehe
Very fun and creative idea! You pulled that of very nicely, i love the artstyle, the animations and the music!
Maybe I'm too old to understand but I didn't understand how fit in the holes, I watched the black platform when the dice hit it but I didn't get the information how to fit
