I should have expected that I won't get far with only 100 ratings.

That was fun. Can't wait for the next one.

It’s not all about number of ratings, most of the top games got less than 50.

I didn't get it, even with a description

Every time you push a die, the face switches.

We reached the 100th rating ! This might be enough for me to reach the top 100.

I like this concept, and this game has simple but nice aesthetics.

First time seeing a PuzzleScript game, would've love to learn that tool.

As for the game, it's difficult to know what you need to do at first, but with trial and error, it's still difficult :P A tutorial would've definitely helped, but maybe some tips on the game page description also? Congrats on finishing the jam !

hey! I found it very creative, although it took me a while to understand how to pass the level. I think you did a good job here, congratulations!

If you can, check out my game.

I would have loved a tutorial, took me a while to understand what was going on, but very enjoyable nonetheless :)

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, like others mentioned - needs tutorial, a slow ease-in into the intricacies of the puzzle. Though it looks and sounds nice and the gameplay is unique on its own :)

Really cool game! Awesome concept and wonderful execution. The undo button is quite unique for this year's jam entries... Nice work!

Nice atmosphere, but not quite sure what i need to do. A tutorial would be helpful.

An interest concept. a tutorial would help a lot, and a visualization of all sides would make it a bit easier.

Puzzle game with an undo button. You have succeeded. I think the hardest part is knowing what you have already done. I did not realize that I was editing the different sides for a long time and was jut running around confused for the first 2 levels until I completed them. I think having a UI at the top of the screen that shows you the faces on the last die you pushed would have helped a TON for understanding. As is I needed a pencil to keep track.

Solid puzzle game you made here though. The levels are challenging and full of the ahah effect. Great job, fun concept. keep up the good work.

I wanted to make 7 levels, but ran out of ideas and made 6 instead.

I like the art style and I can see where you were going with what you were trying to achieve.

Obviously as many others have commented a tutorial or some better guidance on the objectives would have helped. Additionally as the dice rolls it gets hard to track which side is or isn't stamped in 2D space, it would have be good to have a visual tracker of some type in the UI to track what sides have been stamped and which face you were currently on.

Kudos for the effort though and getting it completed on time.

understanding the mechanics is also hard. i thought it was simulating a die physically rolling on the board one cell at a time but it doesn't appear that way. a tutorial is really needed. will try it again if someone can explain the mechanics.

The undo function is a life saver !
The game needs more of a tutorial. I was completely lost at first...
I like the minimalist pixel art !

Praise the Z button !

Hey that was a cool game! I love to see a Puzzlescript game.

As others have mentioned, it's a bit hard to explain the mechanics fully so I also got stuck misunderstanding how  it works.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed this! Good stuff.

Developer

If you liked that one, how about the one made by Galactical ?

A very clever concept with a great execution!

Good job! :D

Interesting little puzzle game. You might need to add some tutorial chapter because its a bit hard to understand what to do. But overall its a nice jam game. Well done ^^

I'll get the negatives out of the way quickly first.

As everyone is saying, a tutorial is definitely required, I got stuck on level 2 and only passed level 1 by sheer luck (Very fitting of the theme).  There is some explanation between levels, but I think the games mechanic is hard to put into words, so it was hard for me to understand...

BUT,

What I did play, was great. I'm a huge fan of low-res pixel art so straight away the art-style is a 10/10, the pushing system and undo mechanic where very reminiscent of BABA IS YOU in the best way possible, so more positives, and the main mechanic (although confusing) is very unique and interesting.

Overall, a great idea sadly restricted by lack of context (understandable due to the 2-day time limit). I truly believe that with more time, this could become an amazing game.

Developer

I originally wanted to make the die works like a normal die, but I realised it would take me 5000 years to get this right, so I made this.

A really cool concept, I love the undo function (reminded me of BABA IS YOU), well done!
