Played through the whole thing! I assumed there was some time pressure- like the workers dying if they ran out of food. But when I realized they didn't I started enjoying it more, and it became more like a comfy resource management / strategy game. Reminded me of games like Doodle god. Really enjoyed this one - massive undertaking for one person. Gonna watch the devlog now. Great job!

Developer

Yeah, my goal was to focus on making a game that felt good to play with mouth sound effects. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and found the zen side of it. Cheers!

Submitted

It's a fun game, but it sometimes feels a little slow.

Submitted

Nice management game.

Too bad I can't read the text. Too low contrast with the background.

Developer

Yeah.... stupid past me. What a silly monkey.

The sounds really add to it, but I felt somewhat stuck once I completed the board the third or fourth(?) time, since it didn't seem to continue anymore. Also really odd to play while you actually stream.😉

Nice Game!

Super cool idea! Really love the concept and it's quite satisfying building up the production line for the required dice. Maybe some way to automatically take dice from one card and put them into another would help reduce the chaos a bit. Super cool for a game jam game

Developer

Yaeh, that would have been nice.. but I had to cut scope as I did this solo. Thanks for playing :)

Hey, thanks for playing my game on stream!

I really enjoyed my time with your jam game. I liked that their wasn't a lose condition - it was a relaxing play to get the right dice. And the little voice effects for the different workers/actions were a fun touch.

I think I would have preferred some way to collect all rolled dice in one part of the screen some way. As it is, they just kinda get thrown everywhere which lead to some confusing piles of stuff to sift through. But that's a minor issue and certainly not one that takes precedent for a jam game.

Well done on this entry. An admirable addition to the Stacklands-like genre ;)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the game becomes a little too chaotic as you unlock more cards over time. Thanks for checking it out :)

Cool game!

Pretty typical resource game, but with dice, but really well presented and thought out.

I had lots of fun collecting the dice and working out what I needed to get the different number dice.

Great submission!

Cool game!

At first, reading the description, I didn't really know what I was supposed to do and in-game the tutorial text was a bit hard to read and went away pretty quickly, but the game itself was very self-explanatory and intuitive which made it easy to learn.

I like how you progressively unlock new cards with each tier, although it does seem that you can just finish the entire game with only the first couple of cards. Using other cards can make it faster but it doesn't seem to be very time-focused. Maybe it would've been nice to require a certain type of die for each row of the tier goals or something similar to force you to farm for a certain die?

I liked the sound effects and the references to other people and Twitch chat. Some background music would've been nice to have though. The representation of hunger in the worker art was also good and made it a bit clearer. I sometimes had issues with workers or dice overlapping and some other small bugs but overall it felt pretty polished.

Overall it was really fun to play though, and well made for such a short time frame. Good job!

Love the sound effects!

Reminds me of Stacklands a bit, but puts a new spin on it in a good way. I like it. Prayed to RNGesus a lot.

It worked quiet well! I enjoyed the feedback. After the first placed die it was obvious and intuitive how it should be played. Well done!

Developer

Hey, thanks I had a blast making it :)

Very satisfying and unique game. The text at the start went away too fast so I didn't know where to put the dice to advance. Once I sorted that out it was pretty fun. Nice job!

Developer

Sorry about that, but glad you were able to figure it out. I'll  add a note to the page for others.

Felt like a dice based stacklands. I liked the ideas but the sound effects were a bit annoying.

Developer

Yeah, I think the worker humming noise should probably not have looped...

Good game

There is Mark Bruwn in your game that's cheating

is the tier 4 the end btw?

Developer

Yes tier 4 is the end. Thanks for playing :)

Submitted

Reminds me a lot of stacklands, I assume that was the inspiration! I'm not sure how to progress and get more cards so I can do other tasks as well.

Developer(+1)

To complete a tier you need to put dice into the "Goals" section on the top right.

Hey, nice idea and execution with this one - I think the sounds really made it! Some bits of the UI were a bit hard to read (small white writing on a light-coloured background) but once I got the hang of what everything did, it worked really well. Nice job!

Developer

Yeah... one of those things that takes a few seconds to change the color and slipped my mind. Thanks for playing.

I like that idea a lot. Easy to understand and very scalable. I'm sure you had a lot of fun creating these sound effects :D Good job!

Developer

Yeah, I saved the sounds until the end so it was fun to just frantically create them without thinking too much.
