the graphics are really awesome, and the game works quite well. The directions did feel confusing at first, though.
Good job! The step counter was a must for this take on roll the dice puzzle that you nailed. The Pico style was a plus, but did make it a little hard to comprehend the die's orientation.
The graphics are adorable, I really love how the dice really couldn't have been any smaller and still have been legible given pico-8's resolution. Great puzzles, and the step counter is a great innovation that sets your game apart from the few dozen other roll the dice around type puzzle games this year.
I’ve played (and quit) many games with basically this concept for this jam, but this is the only one I’ve beaten and really enjoyed. the isometric view + animations were essential for helping me easily visualize what was going on, and the levels were nice and small to teach me specific things. I was also surprised that I liked the step counter by the end, but without it I would probably just roll around randomly until I happened to win, and then be annoyed that I beat it without learning anything. really nice work!
Fun game! I like the artstyle but I agree with others that it's hard to see what number is currently on the die. It might have also been a bit more readable if the right number needed to be facing up, not down. Overall, though, nice work :)
Good game overall. As others have mentioned, the numbers on the die can sometimes be a bit hard to make out. I also think that music could have made the game even better, though of course that's not always possible with such a strict development timeframe
Cute, fun game! Sometimes it was a bit hard to see the number of the dice, but otherwise great job!
neat game with cute graphics, even if it is a bit hard to know what you're looking at. I played on my phone and it worked wonderfully! I'd suggest creating some sort of menu visualizing how your die is positioned. Also the controls felt a bit weird being horizontal and vertical, when you would move diagonally. Great job overall though!
charming little puzzle game, the dices get a bit too small for my bad glasses though
Omg execution is flaqless. And the pace of respawning is just great. a little hard 2 see, but it worked like a Charm.
I've seen a few games like that, though I think it's all pretty small.
Very nice art, missing sound and visibility on the dice number, super smart and solid gameplay still. Bravo, can be proud!
Really cute little puzzle game. Slightly difficult to read the dice faces at this resolution, maybe substituting traditional dice pips for coloured sides would help. Overall great work!
This is a nice little puzzle game. There is a lot of thought and strategy put into thinking how to reach the goal. No sound makes the game feel kind of empty though. The puzzles were also really, really challenging. A dice map to show which side is adjacent to which would also be nice. Overall, nice little game.
Like everyone else has said, very nice concept and especially nice, nostalgic art style! Some of the later levels really make you think about how the numbers on a die are laid out.
Very cute and simple. You nailed it.
Cute cute pixel art. Nice work. I am NOT good at these kinds of puzzle, hahaha.
Very simple game with fitting art but I wouldn't mind a few more pixels to be able to really enjoy it.
Nice Simple Art
Whilst I quite liked the game, in it's art and execution I found the perspective and the controls a bit confusing.
