Amazing game, it looks so good! The platforming is fun and the extra abilities are cool, though it's not always obvious what is a platform that can be jumped on.

Developer

Thanks for playing, and for your feedback! :))

I really enjoyed playing this entry and also loved the cut scenes at the beginning - it felt really polished and you should be really proud! Thank you so much for participating!

Developer

We had lots of fun, thanks for hosting the jam, and playing our game! :D

Really solid game!, my only complaint is that rolling doesn't give you more iframes (does it even give any?), and that you shouldn't take damage when touching a enemy in the back

And bellow the console sometimes the spike and knife end up in the same path and so you have to take 1 damage to kill both

rolling should also kill the knife ones from the back atleast

Developer

Thanks for playing, and for your feedback! Our idea was to have each enemy type countered by an ability, so, knifers countered by jumping, spikers countered by rolling. In a full game, we'd definitely tighten up hitboxes and maybe even add iframes :D

Loved the retro style and art so much! There is something really charming about the graphics, environment, and cute story. Fantastic job!

It reminds me of the platform games I played when I was younger. I thought it was really good, it's a game that I would play a lot on my cell phone.

I would be happy to receive some tips for my game.

Thanks for playing, and glad you enjoyed!

Nice simple cinematic scenes that brought attention to objectives. Felt pretty old school, which I enjoy.

Just a little thing, it may or may not be beneficial to make something like the broken parts of the bottle a little more noticeable, but that's such a small detail, and you allow room for mistakes like that, so not really important.

Developer

Thanks for playing, and we appreciate your feedback! :D

Wow this is a piece of art... You SHOULD add more levels... I really liked how you integrated the art into the level design somehow it made sense which part are platforms... Although it was obvious that the broken bottle in the yard would hurt, my goblin brain told me to jump on it... 100% would do that again everytime I play it

Developer(+1)

hahaha! better be careful, I hear there's a gnome around here who's itching to go bouncing on goblin brains xD
Thanks for playing, and the kind words, we're glad you enjoyed!

wee gnome gets pissed and brutally beats up a gang of armed goblins for messing with his pipes.

Right off the bat the animatons look really nice and love the idea of the map being in an oversized garden! pretty good game.

Thanks for playing :D

I love the artstyle! Really cute :3

It was fun collecting all the shinies and the movement mechanics were nice and tight. If I had to nitpick, I would like the jump to be just a tad more floaty.

Everything was nice and clearly communicated. The little cutscenes to show you what you have to do are really really good. It adds so much story telling and makes the objective very clear. Great job.

Super solid entry overall :) I just wished there were more levels!

If you want, we would very much appreciate, if you came and rated our game as well! It's a silly driving game and you can get the spot on top of the online leaderboard :3 Hope to see you on there

Developer

Thank you for playing and the lovely feedback!! Maybe we'll add more levels in the future, who knows? :) Heading over to your team's game now!

That was a lot of fun :) Love the art style! Only thing I would have liked was an ability to sprint!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! And I agree, we wanted to cram in all sorts of abilities, but had to settle on just two in the end (personally I really wanted a gnome bodyslam ability to really show those goblins what for!)

Gnome bodyslamming Gnomes is definetly something I need to see now :)
