Fun game! Got a high score of 400+m. Very cool crafting interface. Each destruction made me want to play "one more time" :)

Developer

Thanks a lot, great score! I’m glad the destruction made you feel like that instead of feeling frustrated!

Really cool idea! I liked the fact that creating a larger machines weren't always better because you have to deal with the pieces that fall off. This meant there were a lot more interesting ways you could play the game.

I wish there was a way to keep previous build though because then I'd be able to try out the best option for each playstyle much more quickly though I do understand why you'd want to prioritize other things. This feature would have kept me in my flow state for a lot longer.

Awesome ui, definitely noticed the polish. Really cool intro/splash screen and the sfx with the Godot eyes blinking were surprisingly nice. Unique restart button that tied into the world nicely.

Great game!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the great feedback! I’m certainly gonna add a quick restart button post-jam, it’ll definitely improve the gameflow a lot. The splash screen blinking is timed with the music but on web the extra audio latency breaks it unfortunately.

This was awesome! I hit 1.24 km, then with the unlocked parts made a beast of a machine that got 464 m in about 20 seconds before self-destructing.

Well done!

Developer

Hahaha that’s a great score! Glad you could have some fun with it :D

just.. wow!!

Developer

Hahaha thanks :D

Really fun game, and really complete one! This is a full game, impressive for a Jam, congrats

Developer

Thanks a lot! :)

Really cool game, I love all the care you've put into the UI etc, the editor is really nice.  Vehicle building games rule! (I'm actually working on a 3D one on the side right now haha)

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I really wanted to make sure there weren’t any weird quirks in the editor I spent a lot of time iterating over it haha. I agree, I love them too, there’s so much room for creativity. I’d like to see what other genres could support some sort of similar building mechanic.

Really fun :) Impressive building all the systems required for a jam. Looove the particle effects!

I only made it 240m, interestingly enough I had the most success once I'd lost so many wheels that my vehicle was a top heavy gas powered unicycle

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! Yeah I was pretty lucky that most of the systems I implemented worked without needing much iteration. I love particles effects and the nuts and bolts one was really fun to design! Unicycles are suprisingly good in this game, you really can get pretty far with just one wheel if you have enough power!

Fun game and perfect for the theme!

Developer

Thank you! :)

very cool and fun idea, the tutorial appearing on every restart is a bit annoying though ngl

Developer

Thanks! The tutorial only shows up if you haven’t got further than 50m.

Fun and creative!

Developer

Thank you!

Whish there would be a way to save builts or at least save the last built. Impressed that such building mechanics can be implemented in such a short time.

My highscore is 664

Developer(+1)

I considered adding a ‘quick restart’ button that starts another run with the same vehicle but I prioritised other features. Maybe I’ll add that post-jam. Nice score! Highest I’ve seen here so far. My best is 3km.

Well that's just a silly fun game. Plays really well and looks great!

Developer

Thanks a lot! :)

Wow this was really fun! I was getting right into it, grinding my teeth in hope that I got a little further or didn't blow up!

I got 265 but my vehicle was still intact.. but I was stuck unable to get up a hill, and the self destruct button didn't work for me. Not sure if this is a game breaking bug and could be fixed? I'll definitely play this again to beat my score because I don't think I'd seen all the power-ups yet.

Congrats, really great entry! :)

Developer

Thanks! I’m sorry you encountered that bug, unfortunately I can’t reproduce it. What platform are you playing on?

Submitted(+1)

I've been playing on Chrome. Played again for 15-20 minutes this morning and couldn't reproduce sorry!

Got 551m this time -- it can be really addictive, well done! I'd be curious what the best design you've found is? Oh and it really does pay to go slower (as much as I just like going flat out) :)

Developer

Oh well! Nice job getting past 500! I’ve found that making the rear wheel higher than the front wheel works pretty well, it basically rotates the wheel backwards so it’s less likely to get hit when driving forwards. If you have jumbo wheels you can pretty much go pedal-to-the-metal but otherwise you might need to take it slow. Thanks again!

Submitted(+1)

I enjoyed this a lot! I love the progression and building more and more powerful, but doomed vehicles.

Developer

Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it!

This is so great! Love the visuals especially all the bolt particle effects. Nice job! Very fun. :)

Developer

Thanks! :)

I played this for a very long time (my high score is 190).

When I made a vehicle consisting of three wheels and nothing else, it didn't let me retry upon self destruction (this also happened another time that I don't remember). I'm glad that it saves your progress!

The music is also nice, in the editor it reminds me of Baba is You

Great game!

Developer

Yeah that’s certainly a pretty bad bug you’ve discovered! I forgot to block you from going to the driving range if you have no engines apparently… Thanks telling me about this lol

Submitted(+1)

Very impressive, taking on a complex physics based game and getting it working so smoothly in such a small amount of time is a big achievement.  Very polished as well.

Developer

Thank you very much!

Really fun to play :D

Developer

Thanks! :D
