Game Description
A Platformer with custom gravity physics, where you try to escape the VOID that is destructing your home planet. There is not a lot of content, but the idea could be expanded to many more levels, i.e. planets.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The VOID is a strange expanding black hole that destroys planets. The Wildcard is used at the end of the game, but no spoilers here ;-)

Well, Super game idea, there's a lack of visual feedback i would say, A super cool music, and the slime is a bit hard to deal with i found, it may be a lack of controls from my parts maybe ?
Loved the idea, it's super cool !
Thank you! Yeah, the slime definitely needs some more work :-D
Good Game.
Thanks!
Cool ideas here that doesn't overstay its welcome. Does a good job of communicating what the player should be doing.
The only real issue I had was the beginning part felt slow and repetitive after you fail a few times. You spend a lot of time waiting on the planet rotation. Also, I ran into a bug where jumping on the enemy didn't kill it, I kind of just rode on top of it.
The cutscene with the void encroaching on you is really cool as well.
Thank you. You are right, the level design is very basic as I did not have the time to work more on them. The slime was also rushed, there is probably a much smarter and more stable solution, I just slapped on collision shapes until it mostly worked ;-)
The main theme is quite a banger. The art, the mood, and the overall concept was super fun. Like, eery Katamari vibes? I really, really, want more. Please do expand this!
My only real qualm was that I was messing up a lot and, unless I'm stupid and there's a better way, the only way to successfully jump to planet two was to grab the oxygen and wait a second for the planet to rotate to the correct angle and then make the jump. It got a little tedious and made me not want to experiment.
Thank you for the detailed review. You are right, you need to wait for an elevated place to be at the right location. It is meant to be the home sign, but it turned out that the NPC can be used as well :-)
All three planets are more or less only place holders, I ran out of time before I could create more fun levels.
Great idea and solid implementation, graphics look very polished and the game is already playable if a bit short
Also hey man I remember you from the Wowie 3 jam :D nice to see you again, great submission!
Haha, good old times, this was my first jam ever. And your monster truck destruction was awesome :-) Thanks for the feedback!
This is a great idea. The background music gives me a distant Metroid Prime vibe, too.
Thanks. Yes, I am super happy about the music, a lucky find!
Vibes of your game gave me the chills! :0
I like the idea of a hostile space
Thanks!
Entertaining and well made
Thanks!
it was nice, wish it was a little bit longer
Me, too ;-) Thanks for playing!

I like the concept a lot, the whole gravity + orbit traversal idea is very cool. I also liked the visuals for this, the color scheme ties together well. Would love to see this developed more!
Thanks, will try!
good concept and I really think you should continue working on that. There is a lot you can do with that strong foundation.
Awesome,thanks! Will try :-)
Incredible concept, what's there feels great to play. If this gets expanded further you'll be building off a great foundation.
Thank you! I have a lot of ideas for extensions on my list, I hope I find the time to implement some after the jam.
The concept of the gameplay is very fun., and with polish could be something absolutely great.
Good job!
Also, kudos to you for adding gamepad support!
Thank you. I hope I find the time to extend this game after the jam. Great you liked and used the game pad support, I added it spontanously in the last second due to the accessibility check list and thanks to Godots input mapping it was super easy.
The different planets and gravity was really cool. Nice job!
Thanks!
Very fun concept, it reminded me of Outer Wilds for some reason regarding the gravity aspect.
The apk is unfortunately not working for me. It starts but I cannot tap starting the game. On the web version (on mobile) it does work though.
I also had some issues with the .apk. My game for this jam you can't control IF you have a Bluetooth headset contacted.
It's a weird issue.
Nevertheless I like your idea. Cheers!
Thanks a lot. On my phone, the APK works, but I could not test it on more devices so far. Web should be perfectly fine even on Android, at least in Chrome.
Yes, web works perfectly.
