Cool platformer, loved the music and the art style.

Agreeing with the other comments on the moving platforms, I think you just have to use animatablebody2d and it sorts all the physics out for you.

Good job!

Really like all the music in this! Everyone else has already mentioned the issues with it restarting on death, so I wont harp on that, but you can play your music from an autoload script so it isn't affected by reloading the scene. Nice work overall!

The introduction gets straight to the point!

The platforms gave me a particular challenge!

The music is very cool and I wish it played in a loop instead of starting again every time I die, so I could fully appreciate it!

A song for every level! They were all really good for the game. Would have liked for the songs to continue when I fell. I heard the beginning of the chapter 2 song a lot. Those moving platforms were the trickiest part, since I had to move with them. They don't all go the same speed either. Some go as fast as the character, others are slower, so I had to tap the move key. Really nice art in the cutscenes.

Cool entry ! The platforming is hard with the speed of the character and the moving platforms special behavior, but it's still playable after a few tries. Great job !

Some nice elements to this for sure! I quite dig the art-direction, I think the foreground and player don't feel entirely cohesive with the background and could be tied together a bit more, but the jagged minimal abstraction of the levels is cool and the colours create a great vibe.

I didn't finish the game because the controls felt a bit janky to me and the platforms felt unfair at times. There were also a few points where I felt like I had to jump blind and just hope I'll get to a platform, which doesn't make me feel in control as much as a player. Music was nice, wish it wouldn't restart every-time I died though. The quick respawn is appreciated!

Start screen is lovely and I like the chapter illustrations as well.

haha, the moving platform behavior really caught me off guard. Although its probably not the way they are intended to work, it made the game more challenging. Cool vibes! The ending was a nice touch as well. Good job!

Overall a solid game for the jam! The artstyle is minimalistic, but also maintains a cool atmosphere throughout the game. I like the controls but at times they felt a bit janky, but overall it's a nice experience. Great work!

thanks for playing!

Cool platformer with a cool twist ending. The artstyle was simple, yet charming, and the game was challenging yet fun. Sometimes the platforming controls felt a bit unfair, and it might be because you didn't have a coyote jump(?) which I would STRONGLY recommend learning about if you keep making platformers. Still an enjoyable experience nonetheless

A simple 2D platformer. The animations in the background are interesting, but the behaviour of the moving platforms feels very unfair. You have to actively run along and they don't slow down before the turning point. The music is fitting.

I was going to fix the moving platforms, but when i realised that the godot glow didnt work on HTML, i kinda gave up. Thanks for the feedback!

The start screen is sweet and I appreciate how fast you respawn after making a mistake.
