Very fun game! Excellent artwork! I enjoy the stretchy cat paw. The leaderboards were a very cool addition!

Thank you for the kind words! The cat arm was the most technically challenging but and I spent the first weekend on it trying to dial in what we needed. Glad you enjoyed the experience.

Everything looks very pretty and the idea is interesting. I REALLY like the idea of the leader board and it was a very clever implementation.

thank you for the kind words! We didn’t want to go scary, and bounced around a few ideas before landing on this one. I’m a big fan of leaderboards for adding interest in replaying to best others scores. We were actually competing for top score the last two days (while play testing and finding bugs)

Main menu is super pretty and I loved to see a working Leaderboard.

The cover art looks incredible! As does the rest of the art for the game The concept is hilarious and exactly what you would expect a cat to do haha. I love the animations for the cat paw it was very cool! The game is a short but very enjoyable experience. It is well polished and I love everything from the sown design to the score board. Fantastic work team!

Finally a game in which I can make my fantasy come true😂 Very fun ! I would love more levels ! I feel like the controls are a little janky, like the cat sometimes doesn't hit what I clicked on but maybe that was intentional!

In any way, congrats !

The title doesn't lie, the cat IS innocent!!

Jokes aside, fun game!! The art looks awesome, and the leaderboards are a really nice and clever touch (596 points!!)

I love the presentation of this game! The music fits so well and the art style is great. It’s a very polished submission and I like the fact that you’ve included a scoreboard. The random name generator is a very nice touch. Great work!

Beautiful visuals and fun gameplay, absolute chaos. I wish it was a bit longer, though.

Developer

Thank you for the kind words. Our goal was to keep scope down to allow for polish, though gameplay length definitely suffered for that. I am curious do you wish the run was longer, or you could do more things in the time frame?

Great game and great concept. Fun that you can see the scores for other players.

Developer

Thank you! I love adding a leaderboard to bring a since of motivation to keep playing. While developing the game we kept trying to best each other's scores (while also fixing bugs of course)

Great game!  Wish there was a bit more controls like jumping or slowing down the cat, avoiding obstacles, etc.  What's there is quite fun though given the period atmosphere, charming music and art, and funniness to being a cat outta control.  I can't remember but I don't think I heard a lot of SFX.  Like with all the things breaking and crashing, I think this game would be crazier sounding.  Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words. We didn't consider giving more control of the cat but that is an interesting expansion idea. We could treat it like unlockable abilities as you play more and more. Our original goal was to make something super accessible that really could be played with a single button, though would be nice to expand the skill needed in an optional way. And we did have some SFX, but with all the different objects we probably missed some.

Developer

Thanks!  I recorded all the sounds for the objects, so I didn't have time to make unique sounds for them all, and then when we added music it masked a lot of the quieter sounds.  It was hard giving everything a sound but not having them sound repetitive.

Too real. Anyways, that was quite fun. The art is great, excellent choice on music as well. The feel on the controls is bit wonky but that's probably on purpose?

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! Did you happen to try the auto aim option in the Options panel? We did want the controls to feel a little chaotic and crazy, but also make it very accessible.

Pretty funny game the animations for the cat were well done.

Developer

thank you for the kind words! It was a bit annoying to bring all the animation frames together into Godot for the scripted sequences but we learned a lot in the process!

Really charming!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Very cool game, a bit short but everything was well executed. I like the art and the music!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! Minus art assets (unless we started repeating things) it would be really easy to expand and make more areas. We focused on the core components and polishing that as best we could in the time. I am glad you enjoyed the art and music!
