Like the idea and with more polish and some additions such as the enemies get closer and attack you, or you can move through the tress stuff like that and this could be a lot of fun especially if you built on as the levels progressed, understand time constraints though
Thanks for submitting it was fun
Interesting idea. After I got to level 2 and saw that I had to click multiple times for each, and stopped because I didn't want carpal tunnel.
Very unique idea!
Fun gameplay but a little unclear as to what was happening. Didn't realize that the pumpkins where invincible when dark. feels like that should be clarified somewhere. Like the audio and would like the see improvements in the art department and at least make it so the player isn't clipping into trees.
While unfinished, I had a fun time, Great work!
This was fun, but it'd be nice if it had some more mechanics to give it some more depth. I liked the spooky pumpkin enemies and it was fun to shoot them. It'd be nice if you could hold click to fire continuously, I have bad wrists so anything that is spam clicking the whole game is kinda rough for me. Great job!
This game was really loud with no way to turn down the volume. Adding a sound slider would help out a lot. I liked clicking the enemies, but like other comments said, there was no penalty for keeping them around. It was fun shooting them though.
I like the concept but it definitely needs more baking. The level progression seems a bit shoehorned and ends up being tedious. I think it's a good starting point and had there been more time or man hours able to be put into it, it could come out rather well.
One improvement suggestion I'd like to offer for the potential future is consequences from having the enemies on the screen. Perhaps there were plans for it already that went unrealized but at the current state, they do just sit there waiting to be shot.
A small and nice game, which is kinda fun and has a solid basic structure. Unfortunately, it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable when the trees smash directly into my face, haha. A bit more variety in terms of gameplay would make the whole thing more interesting but nonetheless a nice little game! <3
As mentioned below, it's fun but it gets tedious. I think some variation of enemies or being able to lose might've kept it fresh for a bit longer.
As others have said it starts to get tedious around level. I wasn't sure if there was some kind of game over or not since no matter how many enemies seemed to spawn the game just kept going. Maybe my character was just hallucinating the pumpkins from running into the trees so much.
Pretty fun tho my hand started to get tired at level 4-5? reminds me of an aim trainer kinda wich i dig
I like the idea and it's fun to an extent, but it starts to get a little tedious around level 5. Too many clicks to down one enemy. But it's was satisfying in it's way! And the little pumpkin buddies are cute.
Thank you for submitting. I feel you on the home repairs idea being stressful, lol!
Kinda goofy, but was funny for that time!
I like the premise of the game, but the execution was a bit confusing. Can the enemies hurt you, or are you just trying to hit them and after hitting a certain number you progress? The audio got a bit jarring after a while and would have liked to turn it down
Sorry for the following:
- Enemy can spawn outside the camera viewpoint making it impossible to progress.
- Frequent frame rate drops.
Original idea was supposed to be a game about how I've spent so much money on my new home repairs and maintenance which stressed me out and made me lose sleep. So each enemy and level was going to be based on a repair that I've done or yet to do like major repipe and slab leak => water demons.
- Enemy can spawn outside the camera viewpoint making it impossible to progress.
I fixed this. Please see Update 1 devlog.
