Game Description
A relaxing puzzle game about collecting flowers as you navigate the terrain.

How does your game tie into the theme?
It has a butterfly . . . I had big plans for this game, and just ran out of time. So most of the theme was left on the cutting room floor.

I wouldn't feel fair rating it since I can't play in my browser. You can still edit the game page to allow itch display a full screen button. If you do that then let me know and I'll give it another try.

The soundtrack is chill though. It's a success in itself to submit a game on time in these things so congrats!

Wow I'm dumb. I just updated the page and added the fullscreen option . . . I forgot that was an option in the setup page. Could have saved people a lot of pain if I would have done that earlier lol.

Interesting puzzle game! To be honest, I'm not sure whether it's worth it making dice roll the core part of puzzle mechanics - it becomes 99% about lock and 1% about skill, while puzzles usually have higher skill components. Maybe you can have some "baseline," and then add dice to it, not become the only source. Also, highlighting the move range would be really helpful.

Nice submission overall!

Thanks for playing! Appreciate the feedback.

This was a fun, chill puzzle game! I loved the music and liked how you could choose your route and be a little creative with that. Nice work!

Thanks for playing! Appreciate it.

Interesting idea for a puzzle game. I had issues with parts of the level not showing and not being able to use the full dice number for movement, but the concept is cool

Thanks for playing! I did notice this . . . just didn't have the time to fix it before submitting.

Fun puzzle game, full screen is missing, can't play the game on some browsers :/ Great entry :)

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah . . . That was a pretty big oversight on my part.

Interesting concept but frustrating when the dice roll too low! And sometimes the path the game picks for you is not the one you want to take. Interesting to have to adapt to the outcome of the path chosen.

I really liked the mechanics in this game and could see the potential in it. It definitely has a simple but fun game loop and I think that gives it so much room to go in different directions. Nice job!

Cool game! I see a lot of potential here. Unfortunately, the extra moves not working well hurts a lot. It's frustrating to earn something, somehow lose it, and then end one square short of an exit >.<

But I think it's a fun little mechanic, and the powerups sprinkled about do a nice job of spicing it up. Would have loved to see how you would have implemented the theme :D

Appreciate the feedback! The yellow flowers definitely had issues. Been doing some testing on my end, and they seem to work just fine; pretty sure the way I coded and designed them to work is just bad. Thanks for playing though! Appreciate it.

I enjoyed this one. I think it could have been even better if you could have made the die rolling UI pop up after a move in the center so you aren’t having to move back and forth so much between turns.

Thanks for playing! I appreciate it. And that's a fantastic idea that I didn't even think of.

I like the game! It is definitely a solid jam submission, it has a very chill atmosphere. That being said it was really hard to play in browser and have the game fit on the screen. I would definitely make sure to figure out the UI and screen sizing on browser for your next project!

Thanks for playing! Really appreciate it.

Someone else mentioned that chrome and other browsers did not work, which would make a lot of sense because I only tested the game in firefox on a wide monitor. So, yeah. Some improvements are probably in order.

Nice, cool little tile-based game. I was a bit confused at first since there's no highlight/indication of which squares you can move to. After the first couple levels though it was fine though!

For people on Chrome-based browsers I'd recommend enabling the fullscreen button on itch page. Otherwise the game runs in kind of a tiny window (I switched to Firefox to play it.)

I got kind of confused how the extra moves worked, they didn't seem to do anything for me. (I think it only works on the roll that you use it on.)

Being able to move the camera around to see to the end would be a nice feature

Overall nice job!

Someone else mentioned the extra moves . . . maybe there's a bug there. I'll need to check it out. My code is a mess, so I would not be surprised.

Thanks for playing!
