Wow, I suprisingly really like the visuals. The game loop is quite simple but it's fun and the idea of late night gaming can be relatable :D awesome!
An absolutely charming and super fun game. Delivered the exact thing it promised.
Glad you liked it :D
Perfect is the meaning of this game. I enjoy and feel spooky every time that my mom knocked on the door. It seems like this was my story when I was young. Thank you for a good game.
I’m glad that you enjoyed the game!
I frickin' love these types of games! It definitely needed music to add more to the feedback and setting the atmosphere, but nonetheless I had so much fun playing it. I would love to see this become a full game if you wish to continue it. :D
There actually was some music but i guess it was too small to be noticeable, and yeah we've been thinking of some props for the bedroom and some dust particles. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for the feedback, i’m glad that you enjoyed the game! :D
This was a lot of fun! I also really like the art. The style is very consistent.
Thank you for the feedback, i’m glad that you enjoyed the game!
This was a nice take on the theme. The mechanics fit really well for a jam game, although it seems like the lights would always just turn off whenever the mom showed up, when it may have been more interesting to have them slowly decay so it's more of a juggling act. Overall it was a very charming game though.
It's all RNG with the timing so there might be coincidences, i try my best to balance it all out but that happens at times. I'll definitely tweak all that in the final version, thank you so much for the feedback!
You really captured the atmosphere and tension. Nice game!
Thank you for the feedback, i’m glad that you enjoyed the game!
This one's great, I love the visual style and the pixel art for the characters and environment. The flow of juggling between the different stations and pre-emptively preparing for events like hunger and power surges is very well executed.
One thing I'd like to see is an improvement on the progress bars: Currently, they're being influenced by the lighting of the room, making certain bars difficult to tell when they're nearing completion. Having these be unlit materials would help in the discernability of the game-space.
Also, it's amusing how the mother will be upset about you playing games, but is completely fine with her son sleeping near a sparking, faulty wiring, uneaten pizza on the floor, all while a pizza delivery man reaches into her son's room with a fresh box.
This one had a lot of charm, excellent work!
Thank you for giving such a detailed feedback, and I agree the progress bar should be easier to see, we'll fix it in the final version.
And mom logic i guess :)
What a nice game! Fits theme perfectly! I liked cosy music as well. :)
Thank you so much, glad you had fun!
It's a super game !
But the pizzas sometimes spawn in unreachable areas such as the bed or the pc. But that should be an easy fix.
Yep, should be an easy fix
Hey there!
This was such an entertaining game . I love the sounds and the graphics. The mechanics are intuitive. I think the game is paced well too.
Overall, I think this is the sort of games that people can easily get addicted to.
So, good job! Good luck for the jam!
Thank you so much for trying the game out and glad you enjoyed it!
Cool game!
This is a fun game with nice looking artwork and a nice atmosphare created by the music. I also like how you explaned the concept in the begining with the help of images, this made it really simple to understand how to play the game,
One thing I found was you could call the pizza guy several times and he would just stand in the window with pizza, furtunatly the mom didn't see it :D
Thank you for the compliments and mom old lol
It looks so simple but it's really entertaining! I was pretty nervous every time I heard the knock haha. Great game!
Thank you for the feedback! I’m glad that you enjoyed the game!
Funny and good idea. I could feel the tension of not wanting to get caught playing games at night. And it fits the jam theme quite well. Only minor issues I came across was sometimes the pizza appears in inaccessible spots, like in the bed or desk. Otherwise, good job.
Thank you for the feedback! Yep, we are going to fix that pizza bug later on, when the jam’s rating period ends. I’m glad that you enjoyed the game!
Nice atmosphere and gameplay. Now I want to eat pizza.
Mmmm pizzaa! 🍕
Sweet game i like it. It fitts the theme super well. I would never throught that a game that has only three different options would make so much fun. It is very catching and i played it far longer than i thought i would. Great job
Thank you for the feedback, i’m glad that you enjoyed the game!
Cool idea! I love the art style and animation.
Thank you!
Very fun game with a fun concept. I've noticed a lot of games in jams tend to be overdesigned, but this one has the right amount of stuff in it. My only complaint is that I didn't realize the hunger indicator was a hunger indicator at first, which made me wonder why I died when I was in bed. Anyway, great game, hope y'all can reach iron in Valorant soon!
Ah thanks for the feedback, we should have communicated that better :)
I got suspended cuz of afk againHa-ha. That's clever. The theme is represented pretty directly. But the idea is really funny. Nice Isaac referencing graphic style.
Good job!
Thank you for the feedback!
