I couldn't really rate it since I couldn't get the browser version to get past the screen with the controls. I liked the intro music, though.

You have to press the mouse button to continue. Sorry, it's indeed not stated anywhere, that a mouse is used to play.

Nevermind. I just found out, that if press a keyboard button, the game softlocks on the first screen. It works fine if you click with the mouse button though.

That's a bug, thank you for finding that.

ahh that makes sense. Thank you for the reply, I'll try working around it so I can play the game

I wasn't able to totally figure out what to do but I had fun anyway. Graphics, music and atmosphere are awesome but I would welcome a bit more explanation in the game page.

Congratulations on making this game ! I've played your game during a live that you can watch here :

The live is timestamped so you can go directly to your game.

I hope the feedback and live reactions will be useful. Keep it up !

This is awesome! my score \o/

I got confused when it said press space? Also the bar at the bottom saved me but I was just looking at that the whole time I had to do a bad run just to look at the lovely art! great game :)

How did you get so much? My best result...

It seems like a challenge and I accept it.

Cool game. This is the first rhythm game I've seen in this jam! Took me a minute to see the indicator at the bottom, but my score got a lot better when I noticed it. Nice job!

I never was very good at rhythm games so I'm not able to time the button presses correct all the time (and the indicator at the bottom of when to hit the button is a bit small), but the gameplay is simple enough that I was still able to see everything. I appreciate the different animations given to all the characters, my favorite is the Remilia style winged vampire. The enviornment around the castle being rendered was also a very nice touch. The music track is nice and also very extensive, but it might have been nice to have some sound cues outside the music.

The concept was funny but this was kind of a mess.
It was not clear what I was supposed to do,  there was a message and full screen button in front of stuff which was kind of distracting, the key hints at the start were drawn behind some of the foreground, and the mouse control feature was kind of a weird thing to have.

At first I did not get what the bar in the bottom was for, but once I did I realized I was completely out of rhythm! I still managed to get 11k score though ;) Nice concept and cool music, good job!

Awesome game! I don't think I'm playing it right, I can get the guys to count to 16 though

Does it go higher?

amazing visuals, awesome music

Neat game! The music and visuals were excellent, and I like how the camera's viewpoint wasn't static. It's always a treat to play a good rhythm game.

A really fun game with great visuals but I wish it would give the player a bit more insight and I didn't know for a full minute that I could move the camera so I was looking up at the ceiling at first.

Love the setting. The music is great although I didn't understand the bottom squares meaning at first.

Love the music and animations.

Graphics and animations are amazing. Perfect job!

Firstly, the music for this game is groovy as hell and the art for the game fits really well with the vibe of the music. I found the gameplay pretty engaging once I realised the lines at the bottom showed how far behind or ahead of the beat I was. extra points for the heavy amount of game juice
