Did you work in a team?
What was originally a pair of cool dudes quickly turned into a band of 6 friends.
Pinapl (me) did all the coding, sound, and some of the art (some bugs and most of the UI).
Jay2a did a lot of the art (frogs, bugs, environment), and was frankly better than me at it.
Cmacle provided the 80's arcade voice lines, which we all agree are the best part.
Krispy made the music which, despite what he says, is absolutely perfect.
Ash drew the cover art, which is cool as heck.
and Noah did playtesting, more than anyone else did. Noah is kind of a gamer.
Was the resolution a challenge?
So.. few.. pixels..
The hardest part about such limited real-estate was conveying any kind of useful information to the player. But somehow, the frogs look like frogs and the 4 pixel high numbers are just barely readable.
What did you learn?
I learned that our time management is bad. Also frogs are cool.
In the future I wanna make sure the game is in a playable state more than a day before the submission deadline so we have more than 12 hours to playtest, balance, and bugfix.

FROG! Good game man, sniper is OP. Though the helper frog is bugged, I kinda felt it sped up my other frogs.
Thank you! I think in certain situations, the helper frog does get his buff off, but the trigger for it is super borked in this version so it's really unreliable. Please look forward to Helper Frog meta in the post-game jam release
The giant ant on wave 40 screamed game over at me so loud it made me jump :'D my favourite frog is bull frog because they sit deeper in mud the more you upgrade them ^^ love it such a good theme idea for a tower defence :)
Loved the sound! A fun little game. Not too difficult - it was fun to watch my sniper frog annihilate enemies across the map. It's unfortunate that the bug capped it at level 40, I would have loved to keep going!
Yeah we've fixed that bug and done a whole bunch of balancing changes to the game, but due to the nature of the game jam we can't publish those changes until after the voting is over :P
It's too bad we didn't catch them sooner but it is what it is

Nice game! On my opinion, the voice recordings aren't necessary, but they're interesting anyways. I like the gameplay style, the graphics and the music.

I found this game really enjoyable - tightly balanced, really nice art and UI, A+++ voice acting. also frogs are cool
(Also I reloaded the game to hear that 'frog force' intro again and wtf there are different intros??? the amount of polish on this game is crazy)
I had to get to wave 40 to see it break, and the "GAME OVER" scared me half to death!
I really like the game; the maps, the choices available. It would have been nice to see effect radius, and some more stats (for example; how the helper frog boosts nearby frogs). The art is very nice and the menus are nice and clear.
