I actually loved the mechanics of the game, but what really kept me hooked was the animation and sound effects when picking up those “sticks” or feathers, I’m not quite sure what they are! They added a lot of enjoyment and made me keep playing the entire time. Great job!

This was great! I loved the adaptation of the A Short Hike style jumps to a 2D space. I agree with one of the comments from over on the game's page that the early game was very nicely laid out such that you can't help but learn the verbs.

I'm a big fan of the booklet and map. The map in particular was fun to reference once I'd found all the feathers, but wanted to make sure I'd  seen all the spaces.

Cute game with cute graphics. Feels relaxing to play as you cannot lose. Solid entry.

I've heard of Double Jump but 20 Jumps is something. Game was still enjoyable even with no lose condition, felt a bit metroidvania-like at points, I also liked the worm, Nice little entry.

Aw this is such a charming game! I really liked how your level design always encouraged exploration because any time I felt the urge to push a little further there was always a feather:) Adorable little critters and sprite work everywhere and a fantastic ending too. Peaceful indeed.

What a cute game. A Metrowlvania maybe? Had such a nice time just toot tooting around though I eventually needed your (also super cute) map to find the mama. By that time I felt I'd found my wings and it would all be ok. High scores on it really well done.

Absolutely gorgeous! I only found 16 feathers before I got lost, but I loved what I found.

I completed the game with 19/20 feathers. 

Cozy platformer. Perfect game to spend a few minutes. While I was playing a thought about closing the game never came to me and I wished to complete it and find a Mum (what I did). Very good experience.

I love the artwork! Fun game too, collecting feathers to increase my flight speed is a satisfying loop. Such a cute game, awesome work!

Love a good PICO-8 game, the character animation was so cute, the controls felt nice, and exploring felt fun. As someone who recently became a dad the vibe warmed my heart.

I love the lowrezjam games that make me forget that 64x64 is a constraint. Really enjoyed this one overall. Good job!

Why'd you have to make me tear up like that at the end ;') Glad I was able to find mum. Really pleasant game. Nice level design, especially with the change of tiles to the brick towards the end. I felt like I was getting a little lost while looking for Mum after collecting quite a few feathers, and the bricks made me think I was going the right way. Great job overall!!

Great game! Loved the looping interconnected level design. I ended up missing one of the feathers but I did find mom! I love these kinds of ‘metroidvania’-adjacent games. Getting a ton of feathers and being able to fly around was super satisfying towards the end. Also the lighting effect you pulled off at the end of the game was super cool, didnt’ know pico 8 could do stuff like that. Really nice job!

i love the graphics! the little bird is so cute. def fits with the peaceful vibe in a lovely way--esp appreciate that there is no game over or losing, you just get to be a baby bird and find your mom :,)

This is delightful. I love a game that can tell a narrative just through the mechanic, and learning to fly whilst searching for mum is a wonderful example. The art is fantastic. 

I'm pretty sure I found 20 feathers even though the final screen said only 17, but I found mum and that's what's important. Lovely overall.
