Got hooked till i got 125. Just the perfect amount of complexity for a jam like this and really had a nice time playing it, but feels kinda weird the tiles regenerate everytime u reload them. Camel gang 4ever
Thank you! I like camel too!
Amazing game design on this one, the objective is clear, the game is easy but not trivial.
Amazing level of polish too.
One of the best entries for sure! (159 record is good? I used the fox)
Thank you so much! I think 159 is quite good, and I also think fox is rather good!
Great game!
All components of the game on a good level, in general the game itself feels like a complete game! Great job.
Really glad to hear that!
Wonderful little game - I especially enjoy the art direction. Really appreciate you saving the scores between the characters, so you can compare how you did between them!
Thank you! I almost made the highscore shared!
It's the first game I have ever played and my score with the tortoise was 71! Thank you.
Wow, not bad! Thank you for playing :)
ahh lol this was my mother-in-law commenting xD
I had a lot of fun playing! I appreciate the other characters so see how the game could be played differently. Good job!
Thank you :)
Didn't expect a love game to be browser playable. nice
The idea with generating new tiles with every move including when going back is good cause you have to make important decisions. Its cool that you have multiple player characters with separate high scores. It is pretty hard and luck-based tho.
Thanks! I almost made the record shared, I even have the variable still floating around. Glad I decided otherwise
Impressively complete looking game for a solo project.
If the game was a bit more fair, meaning there's always a correct route you can take without dying I could see myself playing it more, maybe as a mobile game.
Thank you so much! I agree, it can feel unfair sometimes! But you can see it as a gambling game, its definitly luck based
Great round with camel! Thank you for trying all characters!
I like this game! Reminds me of Crossy road, but with more free movement and own limitation. Also artstyle looks solid
Yes, now when you say it, its a bit like it in some way!
I liked the concept and sound effects. The character variety was nice too.
Thank you :)
Concept and visauls are great it was fun.
Thanks a lot :)
This game is fun ;)
Glad you had a good time :)
I love the look of this game, and the variety of the characters. The gameplay is fun, and I personally would like it that the tiles are seeded (so if you move left then right, the same tiles on the left appear instead of randomised again) to make planning a route more satisying. Anyway, really good work!
Thank you for the feedback! I thought about it, but wanted to keep it as a twist, but it would definitly be worth a try at another, future game!
I like the idea and visuals.
Those sound when you lose stick with me for the rest of my day 😅
Also great job with characters variations. It's not only visual change but also a gameplay too.
As I understand the spawn is totally random? So it can be unfair and generate situation without any way to survive?
But anyway I enjoyed it ❤️
Thank you so much! Yes, its totally random, and yes, you normally loose to bad luck! Its basically an improved gambling simulator :)
Nice idea and great execution! I like the art as well.
Also what did you use to export your love2d game to web?
Hi, I helped packing the game: We use love.js with optionally Love.js-Api-Player to restore filesystem and networking (this time not required).
Thanks!
The art and the concept were great. I think the game would have benefited from unique hand made level instead of randomly generating the level.
Thanks for the feedback! It would definitly be worth a shot, but kind of a new game.
Really interesting art style and gameplay. Also the music really well made.
Thank you very much :)
i could not figure out how to move
Its true that i didnt wrote that in the description! Its with "wasd" and arrow keys! Would be happy if you gave it another shot :)
thank you!
I just tried it again and it was really fun i like the difficulty
Game felt very engaging and polished. There was a nice variety of tiles to mix it up, and I liked that I could mouse over them in game to see what they would do. Art style was nice and cohesive as well.
Thank you so much :)
