Well that escalated quickly...

Either way, this was a really fun game.  But it definitely gets really hard really quickly. Also, the "swoosh" sound the sword makes is the best. Really made just clicking the mouse button alone a lot of fun.

I noticed I could plant and grab crops from arbitrarily far away. Though at the same time, sometimes it wouldn't register my clicks. Maybe it had something to do with how close an enemy was to the crops.

It might have been nice to add a way to heal the barn? But I'm not sure how long I'd actually want to keep playing this game unless there was promise of more variety (different crops, enemies, fighters, etc). So, really, I think that the length of game play is about right. It just shows no mercy.

Yeah you got my feelings exactly. I didn't want to drag the game out too long as I didn't have time to add more variety and things would get a bit repetitive. I thought better to think the game was hard than be boring. Also last minute I thought it would be a good idea to make it so the player had to be close to the crops in order to interact with them, probably a poor choice in hindsight (Especially with no feedback to the user as to what was going wrong). Thanks so much for the feedback :)

Really fun although it gets really hectic after a while. feel like the spawn rates need to be lowered. overall good use of assets and fun to play.

Very frantic. My dudes kept dying before I could plant another batch of crops!

Really cool game, at first I didn't understand you could plant anything, but it was a lot more fun when I figured out how it worked. Maybe make the mages and the knights stronger and the player a little weaker. Else you can just don't focus on farming at all and do pretty well too. Still a lot of fun!

Interesting game! I think having "E" be planting/ harvesting might better. Not sure if i had missed the prompt or instructions but I accidentally stumbled on  how to plant/harvest by attacking an enemy.  But I also agree some ramping on difficulty and breaks in between waves would help.

Developer

There were some photo instructions on the main menu but I agree that a simpler/ clearer approach should be implemented in future. Thanks for your feedback :)

I liked your game! A bit of a slower ramp up, or some break times where you can just farm would be cool. What I like about your design is how much cool stuff you could add like defences or traps.

WOW, that looks like it took a LOT of work to complete! I agree with the need for a tutorial and it feels like the action ramps up a bit too soon, but overall a good concept/execution!

I really like it! It could use a small tutorial, because it is not immediately clear when you need to do and how it works.

Cool game! I agree with the other comment, interaction around seeds/carrots could be better.

Cool concept. I think there are some usability improvements you could make. For example, it felt like when collecting the carrots and planting the seeds i had to swing a lot to get it to impact the tile i wanted. It just kinda felt a bit clunky and i think it may have been better if this was achieved by walking over the carrots and seed patches.

Otherwise i thought it was decent.

Developer

You have to be within a certain range of the farm plots to be able to interact with them. I should have added something to tell the user they were out of range. Thanks for the feedback :)
