I really like the intro scene, the art style and the level design. I wished I could use arrow keys for movement so I could choose to use my right hand for movement.
The character movement could be better. The air acceleration is high so in this game it is better to jump first then move instead of the usual move then jump. If you move then jump it is very hard since you will probably fall off the edge before you can jump which is a bit frustrating.
couldnt beat the end but it was fun :) until i rage quited ! >.<
Really solid platformer, controls feels quick and snappy. I terrible at platformers though so I didnt get very far. Lighting amazing 100/100
Nice game and the player feels pretty good to move. Loved the opening story. This game is a little too difficult for me. I think giving the player more space to move around, some extra lives or checkpoints a little feedback on when maybe the arrows shoot out, and/or a duck could really experience whats a very nice groundwork for a platformer. Nice job!
The connection to the theme feels pretty tenuous but I don't blame you because you were clearly focused on making the best game you could. The art is beautiful and I'm particularly impressed by the lighting. Making use of Connor's monkey sounds is a nice touch. I'm glad to be vindicated by the comments here that confirm that this game is hard as hell, but it was enjoyable for as long as I was willing to throw myself against that wall! I'll leave this one to the platformer masochists.
Fun challenging game with a nice art direction!

Really beautiful and also really hard game :D Love the monkey soundeffects and pixel art. Jumping also feels good! The arrows are kinda hard to see :&
I'm sorry that we made the game too hard for some of you. We still want everyone to see the end of our story so I posted the last frames here: https://imgur.com/a/tRzwzdH
The athmosphere is great and it's a very good idea to take the theme into another type of game! I'm not the best at platform games, but I really gave my best for this game. I second the coyote time comment, it would help for those who have 0 coordination (me)
A pretty fun platformer! I had to tap out in the last level, but the other levels were pretty well-made. I would suggest adding some coyote time to the jumps to help it feel a little better, but overall it was a really fun experience!
A really solid and beautiful platformer. Gave up in the last area with the flames coming towards you in the small corridor and the spikes on the floor. Being reset to the start of the room after going so far was too punishing for my sensitive soul.
Great little adventure that really sells it's world and setting! The platforming was pretty tough so I do have to admit not making it all the way through. Some would say it's a skill issue :)
Awesome little game. Requires timing and some platforming skills. I made it a good bit, but not gamer enough for the bottom Knew it was over for me the second I saw the death counter. Overall, Connor clearly carries as VA.
Somewhat original use of the theme, but is still a basic platformer so not too original. That said it was very fluid. I gave up on the final stage due to a terminal skill issue lol (I am telling you there is no way you beat this). Capping audio and visuals due to them not being original assets, but they were used very nicely.
Spikes hurt poor monkey a lot D=
Cute story, nice use of theme for something other than a racing game.
Had a lot of fun, the bottom levels are punishing but feel fair after you learn the mechanics up top. Well done!
Monkey see's big annoying task, monkey overcomes task and is happy
Beautiful shaders and epic monkeee
