I love this story. You were able to be very descriptive in the action, and I feel the theme coming through in the conflict. The combination of arrogance with strength versus the intelligence of a supposed lesser being makes a really good story. Some of the short one sentence paragraphs could maybe be combined, but other than that it was a great story.

Hahahahaha! Another smug hunter becomes a lot less smug. Great! Nice touch with using a Gator in their natural element.

Thank you!

Also, gotta gush about your vivid descriptions! Really showed me up when it came to my story!

Well, more to learn for next jam!

Ok, that was an absolute BLAST!

I loved how you turned his intelligence in on himself!
Also, I greatly appreciate reading an AoF story that doesn’t use the Duchies of Vinci. (A trap even I fell into.)

I love the Saurians and the Beastmen, and this was a great showcase of both.

That last line was absolutely PERFECT.

Thank you so much! that really means a lot to me!

glad you enjoyed that line and the descriptions :)

I really liked your story, but I struggle to see the theme. Two ambush predators fighting doesn't give me the contrast that I want from "Strength vs Intelligence"

I disagree. While both predators were strong, it was the trap that the gator laid that gave it the advantage. Using it's wits to overpower an equally strong foe

"There's always a bigger fish."

Nice buildup and execution.

This was very well done and you do a great job when it comes to describing the environment! I love how well you characterized the main character as well.

Extremely well done, a strong vision with the skill to back it up! This is one of the best ones in the roster! Well done, I'm ecstatic to see what'll be done next jam!

(Tbh, this was a very last minute thing so I'm glad it came out good!)
