Summarise your game!
In a short side-scrolling level with various obstacles, the player is a bomb-stuffed orc chief with limited movement abilities. They must strategically purchase units and time their deployment, while efficiently managing the cash available, to assault the fortress and find a route to safely deliver themselves to the target location, where they/their bomb will explode. If they do a good job, the council of wizards will be pleased.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as an orc that is also a bomb.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?

The intro was great at explaining the lore of man and elf, and the art style was super unique and cool. I really appreciated the hand-drawn style and would love to see more, for example, the 'panning shot of the badlands.'.
Also, as a fellow LOTR enjoyer, I very much liked the references to man flesh being back on the menu!
The main menu was very well laid out and easy to use. I liked being able to control the effects and music volumes separately, and also having a level select option gave a lot of replayability options to those who wished to skip to their favourite level.
The gameplay was strategic, and it was a nice surprise having the option to upgrade my camp and also buy minions to clear obstacles. This game overall was very well planned and executed as far as timing and the layout of the level. The mobs are all very well placed and constantly have me on the move and thinking about if I should move to dodge or use an asset using some of the cash in the shop.
When going back to camp, I felt a sense of relaxation from the constant pace of the main gameplay, which was a nice break. The background music was so soothing! This game was super fun to play. Thank you for your submission!
Wow, I can’t tell you how nice this was to read! I’m so glad the reviewer enjoyed MANFLESH and appreciated all these details that we had so much fun putting effort into. Thank you for the lovely feedback (and for pushing through the technical issues to get it to us)
I love the variety of back up you can buy. The intro with the notes on cinematic shots was hilarious and you had a great voice for the Gandolf character. What a wonderful addition to the platformer suicide bomber genre. Which, mark my words, will be the next big thing!
I enjoyed very much being able to explode on the spot - I know this fails me but its fun haha
Cool entry!
It can be pretty useful! As long as you still have enough money left over to respawn :) Thank you for playing!!
I got stuck cause I couldn't kill the archers with my archers, the defense got blown up but then the archers were just hidden on the ground killing me
This game is awesome. The art alone just gives me early 2000's flash games vibes! I love all the ways you can attack the objective. My favorite was just launching my self with the catapult. The SFX and music really sew this thing together. I did get stuck a few times, but honestly it just added to that 2000's flash charm.
Great stuff!
What an amazing game. You are an orc? What could be better? Practically nothing 10/10
This is a crazy game, it’s also like… kind of a good idea? What? Reminds me of the Age of War games, but with more explosions and direct control, I like it.
This is great, there's a lot here actually and it also looks good. You had me after the first explosion.
Lol this is great. I thought this was just a meme game or something at first, but it's actually a really great concept.
I also love how you have a button to just friggin' die lol
Thank you!! That means a lot. We had such a blast making it 😉 Super happy with how it turned out!
Fun game! The wizard's incoherent grumbling is hilarious!
Cool game and take on the theme! Nicely done!
