This was really fun! Kinda reminds me of  the cell stage of   Spore, which I remember playing endlessly as a child! 😂 Really like the messing about with the visual postprocessing and the audio pitch. Makes it all feel slightly uncanny.

I got so big I could not see anything but fish. Must have been very hungry.

Thanks for taking part in the jam!

I think i should be the one thanking you. Thank you.

Well I cooked the fish, can't ask for much more than that!

I loved the sound effects, the gameplay was simple enough to learn quickly, felt like I was playing a cursed version of a mobile game ad.

I also loved the fact that the bottom of the ocean is the sky box, beautiful touch.

Great work!

By the end the game was just a static screen with only screams of agony and people congratulating me playing over it. 10/10 this is an amazing submission

I think I turned into the king of the seas by accident hahah

I loved the idea and I confess that I was a little nervous at first, since he moved very quickly haha. Congrats!

this game has permanently made me see plankton swimming on my screen

I’m genuinely confused by this game but in a good sort of way. Nice work.

Good sound design and very cool concept to increase playback speed based on velocity. Art was cute as well. Nice submission!

Absolute chaos on top of a classic experience! Great idea for SBIG!

This was fun, at one point my screen became fully orange, loved how you randomized the pitch of absolutely everything

Love the screams of agony, really puts you in the mood. Plus feels great to grow bigger than the screen. Just a lovely fever dream really.

I wonder what those things hidden in the depth of darkness are. The way how they scream when you eat them, combined with the fact that you can't see them, can really build up a good creepypasta.

And also those lunch plates that say "congreachoolaetions" when you eat them. WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE!!!!1!!1!!!1!!1!!!???/??/????//

I'll go back to this whenever I feel like I need to become the strongest fish in the ocean. I love the CRT screen look you gave this game!
