Great art work. The game is great on the eyes. I wish the CRT lens effect was toggle-able. I enjoyed this game. Nice work!

Very stylish and polished. I really like the audio design and not seeing the enemy added a different sense of fear. The VHS effect felt a little heavy-handed at times but still visually suited everything. Would definitely be cool to see this project expanded on, nice work!

Well-polished game!
Great job!

Nicley done! Felt like I was in an old school slasher flick.

Those noises and camera movement when the thing is coming into the room your in is terrifying just scrambling to find somewhere to hide with it ramping up. Really nicely done. The game play is really smooth and well executed had a great time playing it.

Great visuals and sounds!

Great ambience, the lightning was a good scare wich made me jump, and i was very tense when the "something is coming effect" started and i had to find somewhere to hide quickly, liked it very much

All right! I really enjoyed what you did here. The graphics were cool (really like the art direction you took), the sound was even better- the overall sound design was subtle, but the noise when the baddie comes- downright oppressive! Nice!

I have only one problem with it (and it's probably on my side)- I found the garage key, entered the garage, and couldn't use the car). I went to look for what I missed (maybe carkeys), but ultimately the baddie got me :)

Still- really good game! Keep it up!

*SPOILERS*

You need also the car key. There is a parent's room key in the kitchen and then upstair you will find the car key in the parent's room.

Boy, this was a scary game! The death scene and the lightning sound effect made me jump out of my seat because of how sudden it was.

One of the best so far, needs more attention. Looks very polished, colors look beautiful, nicely written.
Good job!

Dig it!  Reminds me of something from the NES era.  Great colors and hiding mechanic (although I admit I refused to hide the first time because I wanted to see the monster!!!).  Definitely going to circle back to this one later and play more!

This kind of color palette is amazing, great for games of the genre and I love it, it was amazing the game.

Great submission for game jam! Love the color scheme

Great entry! Concise and well executed. If any complaints, it would be that I got all (or close to all) encounters in the same room. It was the room below the stairs, with the house front door in.

That was a great game! Really creeped me out. Sound design really made me sit on the edge of my seat and helped the atmosphere, the atmosphere was excellent. Some of the sounds was a bit loud though. Aesthetic fits  well, and the art was great. The story was decent I interacted with a newspaper hoping it would give me some more info about what was chasing me. But sadly didn't happen, that would be a nice addition. My apologies if something big was revealed in the ending I wasn't able to interact with the car to escape sadly so wasn't able to see the ending. Overall I loved the experience keep it up team!
