OK, this is brilliant. So many different games, and all of them playable with a twisty knob. It made me wish I could use the controller from one of those ancient analog Pong consoles!
The music is upbeat and addictive. The transitions come so quickly, I can hardly tell which way is up, but there's always a break in between so I can catch my breath. So good.
My only suggestion would be a bit more feedback (visual, audio) as to whether or not the player was successful at each challenge.
there is music that changes wether you failed or won and the cake live meter goes down one but thanks for playing :D
Fast paced and with an impressive selection of mini-games, congratulations!
thanks!
Nice collection of mini-game, served with a music that fit perfectly. The only things I could says, is that because the button is on the left sometimes the pointer goes outside. So a full-screen mode would be great, or at least some 16:9 ratio. Other than that, well done on this game.
thank you! and yeah prob should have made the screen res bigger
Very fun game ! Surprised how many mini-games you put in this. Good job!
thanks!
Really impressive how the two of you managed to make so many small games in one in such a short amount of time, as well as all of the art and sound assets. If I have a critique it's that in some of them the goal was unclear and when they ended I wasn't quite sure if I had won or lost them. But a very solid game, over all!
thanks :)
I mean anyone could see where the inspiration lies, but an incredibly inventive take on the theme and limitation. Impressive how many mini-games there were, but on a couple I did find myself wishing it was more random such as the 'Catch Fruit' and 'Which is more', as it was always the same. (and I did once get two of the same mini-game in a row which was a bit annoying)
i should prob make the fruit one random and also the more minigame is random lol it is just likely to be the same since there are only 2 possible outcomes but thanks for the feedback :D
Really Cool Game, I Didn't Really Know How To Play At First But Later The Game Felt Really Good After, I Like The Art. That All, Good Game ;P
thanks :D
I wasn't expecting there to be that many mini-games, new ones just kept showing up! What's more impressive is that all of them seemed to be of very consistent quality.
The transitions between mini-games seemed a little long, but other than that very well done!
thanks :)
Very creative! Fits both the theme and the focus very well. The graphics could be prettier, it would enhance a lot the game. n my opinion, for this take, pixel art wasn't the best option. My only feedback is that, due to the position of the oven knob at the screen, sometimes, my mouse would go offscreen to the left and it would stop reading the position. Maybe changing the layout or something could help. Overall, very fun loop and good minigames! Congrats :)
I'm not a big fan of mini games, especially in jams. They give me the impression of being too dispersive.
But geez, theese are so well made! Also it's very clear what connects them, they are very well themed. I find very clever using the same coltrols for all of them. I appreaciated a lot how quickly they are presented.
Very fun submission, a pleasure to play!
thanks :)
I love it! Feels like Wario Ware but with a different take on the controls. Nice art style, nice music, plays pretty well, although some of the game are pretty hard and close to impossible on the first try. Really good job!
lol yeah some games are a bit unfair
your game is truly unique I loved the style of it everything works as it should there's too much to see from this game , I gave you a solid rating well done and thank you for your stunning and amazing submission!
thanks you so much :D
So great! Can't believe you were able to fit so much content in with the jam timeframe. Well done!
thanks!
It's amazing. So much jammed into such a small space. Everything works well, none of it feels overlooked or underworked. It's a triumph. If I had any feedback to give it would be that I would like our life bar on the knob side. With it being so fast paced I felt like I could do with a third eye. Other than that it's amazing. kudos
lol it was originally on that side but i could not focus on the game and the bar so it switched side :/
This is super polished for a jam game the menu buttons are great. The mini games are unique and the balancing temperature is a creative take well done. :D
thanks you so much :)
Amazing game! I loved all of the little minigames, although some were a little buggy, like in the hammer minigame the hammer could hit the nail from both sides. Also the align minigame felt a little too easy. But those minor bugs didn't detract from the experience, and it was really fun. Amazing use of the theme and limitation, really fun minigames, great audio and sound effects, and even the art, which wasn't much, was plenty to make the game fun and enjoyable. If you could also play and rate my game too that would be great!
thanks! and already did lol
This was so much fun, the upbeat song, screen transition and light minigames!
Delightful, well done.
thanks so much!
Its very impressive you two made so many distinct mini-games, such an anthology is quite the undertaking for a game jam!
I really love the audio, great work on that front. The graphics are nice too, they all look like they fit together well, though naturally with the split-focus nature of the game no one graphical aspect was too impressive.
Some nitpicks:
-Its odd the tutorial is exited by pressing the x key when the rest of the game is entirely mouse driven, to be honest I didn't even see the small instruction at the top left of the Tutorial panel instructing how to close it and I just intuitively tried to click off the screen, and ended up clicking the Play Button while the tutorial panel was still up which was momentarily jarring.
-I was wondering why I had trouble going left sometimes but it turns out its because my mouse was off the game's screen. Which, fair enough, that's reasonable, but a wider aspect ratio could help alleviate the issue so the knob isn't quite so close to the left edge of the screen.
-I experienced a glitch on the circular 'pong' game where the ball didn't bounce off the edge of the paddle; it registered as two hits but kept moving out of bounds undeterred
-The ski game seemed to come and go REALLY fast compared to the rest, I lost the first time with nary registering what was going on and likewise won the second entirely by accident of having the knob right where it needed to be at the start.
thanks for the feedback :D
This was a refreshing break from all the action packed games out there! Very nicely made!
thanks i honestly thought it was stressful lol
I loved this game very well made!
thanks! :D
