The presentation of the game and the main are perfect. There are some bugs but I enjoy It a lot. Good job

So I'm gonna be brutally honest, there are a couple of big issues with this game:

  • There's a game-breaking bug right at the beginning where magnets dragged onto the level will instantly disappear. You have to reset the level a few times before they will stay and stop disappearing when placed.
  • The critical side-panel holding all the important bits should not default to being collapsed and hidden. I was baffled when I first played this game, because it disappeared so quickly that I didn't register it was there at all. Also on the subject of UI, the text for each level takes up a baffling amount of space, pushing the play area way over to the side all scrunched up.
  • There was a level called "speed run", not sure what the mechanic was supposed to be, because all I had to do was move the pre-placed magnet to the other side of the screen, and then it was just a repeat of the very first level.
  • There is a level where a big blue "S" circle is present in the center of the screen, and magnets I place on this level are large and immobile. It's not clear how or why that element of gameplay has changed, and it's very frustrating. 
  • So far it's just been a succession of levels where the solution is "put a line of opposite-colored magnets" leading towards the goal, so I'm not seeing where the puzzle element comes in. 

The good bits:

  • Music is nice
  • I like the bloom and 2D lighting applied to the scene, it's very atmospheric

Ayo thanks for the review! We'll be releasing a post jam version soon. Also I didn't understand what the last part meant. The game is about finding the right arrangement of magnets and the right timings to switch the poles.

i would like to assist on point 3 and 4: the speedrun level is suposed to just try out a few mechanics and complete it as fast as posible, it is a "free" level. I couldn't get past the tutorial page where it describes how to play. There is no button to continue or close the page, and no keys I pressed did anything.

Cool game, this is really fun! That last level is really tricky

Launching yourself at high speeds is very satisfying. I agree with the below comment, I do wish there was a way to retry without having to place all the magnets again

Really cool little puzzle game! I think the mechanic of swapping polarity with space was pretty cool for the puzzles! One thing I would change is allow the ability to keep your magnets down when you restart the level so you can try again with the same placements. The art style looked very polished, nice entry!

This is a fun game! It was cool to be able to build "tracks" and launch the magnet through and there are a lot of different creative paths you can take with plenty of levels to try them in. The timer is a great feature too, it's fun to try to find the quickest possible routes. The graphics were also great for such a simple style, and the music is nice and atmospheric. Good work all around!

Despite having some complications to be able to play it, I can say that graphically it is great. The gameplay is simple and quick to understand, it has a good number of levels and a leaderboard. It's good to spend some time.

If you update it after the Jam, you would see a button to open and close the side panel, something like a protruding tab in the center of the panel.

Had some pretty good fun with this one, Even for just 2 blocks there was a surprising amount of creative ways to beat the levels. Cool entry!
