Amazing! five stars! high-polished game, the puzzle is reasonable and fun to play.
I suddenly have a point if this kind of game can be made to be played by blind people as well. For GIFT there are already voice prompts, what if the blind player was told where the ladders are and where to place them in a voice format? And providing the player with a tool to be able to tell what the next pixel is made of by listening to the voice based on the number of pixel grids to know how to get through the level, could be an interesting idea.
Very interesting idea, highly polished game and smooth gameplay experience! I feel that in the future, what if add wind-force that similar to the golf game, different wind power for different quality or volume of the ball, there is a function relationship, thus affecting the feeling of control. If the wind is is weird, you can also generalize gravity, such as the dynamic gravitational ball outside the field so as to affect the player's control of the object. At the same time, if it reduces the player's experience, it could be fun to add something like acceleration/boost or other incentive items.
Anyway, five stars! nice game
Quite a potential game, feels like it should be more interesting with more time! I cannot win, but this game reminds me of a one-dimensional pixelated rouge-like game from Gameoff in 2022 ranked, also based on randomly generated "commands".
Anyway, go for it !
It's hard to believe it's very interesting!!!! There's a plot, there's some control maneuvering, and the idea of a color palette is interesting. The characters are simple but funny (isn't it?) and I love it I got stuck in a lot of building levels but it is fun.
Also, I didn't hear the sound, and I'm not sure if I'm having trouble with the settings.
Five stars! Let's see what fun games I popped up! I love the music, it has a quirky and lively feel to it. The game idea was also fun, and it occurred to me that it could also be done by memorization.
For example, it starts off with a top and bottom grid, and you're on the bottom grid, and you need to press the top, and it's all pretty normal. From here, you could set it up so that the top grid disappears 1 second after it appears, and then the player needs to complete it under the order of disappearance. Of course, this is still easy, but when there are a lot of squares, relying on the disappearance order can be challenging.
I love the simple racing-style game, there's a sense of childhood memories. Very fun game with interesting ideas. It would be interesting to realize the turns by turning the map, I'm not sure if it would become better but also harder to realize if you don't turn the map but only turn the car or turn the car when the map will assist in a small turn.
Anyway, this is cool
FIve stars!Great music and art, I've been listening to music and watching this handmade style of background animation for a long time in the main interface, and it seems that the background grid responds a bit over time.
May I ask a technical question? because it's my first time making a game, and I don't understand a lot of it yet. Is the randomly generated geometric pattern effect behind the main interface made with unity's particle effects?
Thanks for playing this game. You're right, a lot of issues are still being improved.
In the beginning, the music was designed with the idea that the layers of music would be looped and stacked little by little and randomly unfolded as the characters appeared. However, due to lack of time, the best part (battles) is not the main part of the game.
I'm confident that I'll come up with more interesting compositions in the future, so please look forward to it xD
Thanks for the reply! I was going to design more levels with more interesting stuff, but I stopped due to time and ability limitations. As you hoped, it might be better in the future.
Haha, thanks for the encouragement on rhythm, there's still a lot for improvement due to very limited time composing. It will get better, so stay tuned! xD
Thank you for your reply. I'm a little late in replying to you, sorry for it.
Yeah, you're right, when I conceptualized the game, there was always more that I imagined we could do than what actually happened, but contrary to what I hoped for, a lot of stuff couldn't be done with my limited abilities (abilities, in turn, being related to experience and time), and even if I had the ability, there wasn't enough time.
Although I started focusing on it a few days before the game, the two weeks since the game started have been wasted by doing nothing. There's a lot of ineffective communication. I suddenly realized that it's too late when you've thought of everything, and often the motivation to do something is just "go for it".
Many thanks for your encouragement, yeah, while developing more games, practicing planning and organizing is a good way to trade off that "scope" as you advised.
Same here, see you again in future jams!!
There's a plot, there's quest, there's quest guide, there's puzzle, there's changing size and the music is very good, it has its art style, and there's a lot of movement in the character's body and legs as he jumps around. I can't believe it was made by one guy in such a limited time. I will give you all 5 stars!!!!! I hope to be like you someday bro
fun game with different gameplay. I get stuck on the final level, I think 20 is very hard. Level 4 is hard to hit the right place on beat but fun, which reminded me a Korean game called Audition Online which is full of my child.
pico-8 is cool, I remember one of my friends recommended this to me when he first tried to develop a game. xD
Very interesting idea. I've thought about doing some puzzle games in this style before, but the idea was there, and a lot of the ideas were put on hold because I didn't know how to make them in unity.
Very interesting puzzle game, once on the second level, got all three wires and then entering the door didn't seem to work, the wire broke and then I couldn't seem to get out xD
