I like the concept - but I think you could play with the "slow motion" and the "level transition" aspect of the gameplay and make it part of the platformer puzzle, like the player by grabbing the tomato would have to quickly move away of the hole forming under him. Like this, you'd have increasing difficulty throughout the gameplay without having to use "increased distance" to jump for that matters. Thanks for sharing !
Nice idea. It'd be cool to recover health and to have to balance the gameplay between being hit, rising the multiplier, keeping it up, while not dying, to entertain the audience longer. Maybe add some special power ups or things to it as well, that benefits the audience or the player. All in all, thanks for sharing !
A fun game that reminds me of the flash game era. With some polish, more diversity and challenges, this can become a fully fledged micro-gestion game. I had fun playing it, the mechanics are simple to understand, though the pace at which the customers arrive at first could be slower so the player has time to get theirs hands on the restaurant. Congrats !
Solid game and concept, lovely character, fun and relaxing to play .. Thanks for sharing this game :-)
Despite the rotation being a bit clunky, the gameplay is intuitive and easy to get your hands on. I'm not sure if the "reset" that spawns different trash items every time is supposed to be a feature or not, but it's excellent, as it truly underlines the fact that you can sculpt anything with anything. Congratulations !
Nice, I had a lot of fun playing this entry. The mechanics are simple enough to get your hands on without needing instructions or tuto, the difficulty increases steadily for each fight, and the sound design/music are on point.
I would have loved to "need" to use the floor slam though, instead of it just being a feature.
Welp, as it has already been said a few times, can't see this fitting in an AC game - except if they go out of their way and start making Animal Crossing: Journeys to Beyond, a JRPG remake with more adventure and actions, then this would be awesome. The composition, arrangement, and instrumentation is done well, with taste and with skills - but the celesta, when reaching the higher notes, tend to slightly get out of tune, maybe the VST has its limit when it comes to stretching higher or lower ?
In any case, a splendid entry :-)
Nice one! As it was said, I like the chord progression of the midi guitar, it feels really video-gamish (specially AC), but a bit of variation in the dynamics, velocity, panning, way of playing (strumming VS picking) could go a long way to make it sound more alive - maybe a tad of reverb as well.
Nice vibe you've got going though, thanks for sharing !
Very nice and solid entry ! The AC vibes are definitely there, congrats on that ! The melody is catchy and the song hits the right spot ! Maybe the drum section (or just the kick idk) is a little loud for the vibe you're going for, and the low freq feel a bit muddy (because of the breath of the kick I think), but its a super cool entry nevertheless!
A nice and percussive entry, very catchy. The dulcimer is an interesting choice for sure, it gives a whole different vibe compared to all other entries. The percussive section feels a little too loud and distracting to my taste, especially the wood blocks (shakers could use some more room and distance as well to give space to the melodic elements a bit), but otherwise a solid entry. Congrats !
When Animal Crossing meets RADWIMPS, nice take on the theme! Maybe a tad less reverb would do great, it tends to make things a bit muddy and confused. But the composition and arrangement/instrumentation are spot on ! I'd work a little bit more of the high end of the spectrum, which seems to lack a bit in presence - maybe because the mids feel a bit muddy (due to the reverb). But I'm having fun listening and singing a long, so thanks for sharing and giving me such a good time :-D
Nice, you had me surprised when the vocals come in. I feel like they are (way) too loud compared to the rest of the track though, and it basically hides the rest of the mix when they're present. Which is sad because your arrangement and mix is pretty balanced and solid ! The chord progression and instrumentation is interesting and really suits the theme well. But somehow the vocals just throw it off. But it's still a very nice entry, congrats !
That's a catchy one for sure, I'm listening to it again and again and can't seem to get enough of it :-D
Interesting take with the synth lead sound paired with the piano, I love how they support each other!
Your low ends are clear and well balanced, as are most of your levels actually, that's a solid mix right there !
Congrats on an awesome entry !
Aaaah why does it so abruptly ! Your tack is awesome, I really feel the AC vibes and the nintendo inspiration here - on the composition as much as in the instrumentation. But I wanted it to keep going for longer, or to resolves in someway that doesn't make me want to listen more and more of it :-D Which is done well, since it's supposed to be a game soundtrack, so that's actually fine haha. Nice job !
A really fun and catchy track to listen to ! Definitely fits the theme well, you really understood the vibe of the game I think :-)
Your mix is awesome, nothing stands out too much, it all fits well together and in its own place - despite the waves and the seagulls which could be adding some annoying frequencies to the mix but somehow they don't, you've integrated them super well.
Bravo, and thanks for sharing !
Very nice, smooth and soft composition, and catchy on top of that - if you had told me this came from the actual game, I'd have believed it.
Your mix is perfect, your instruments leave space to one another (frequency-wise and stereo-wise), and that's what feels so relaxing to listen to, it's not overwhelming and doesn't require focusing too much to understand it despite its complexity - as in the original track from the game, actually.
I love your bridging sections and the way your arrangement resolves and returns home and start looping again from the top, it's so very tasteful and efficient.
I loved your entry for the OST Comp #7 as well, I see that you are consistent in great writing :-) thanks for sharing !
Regarding the theme, so far, this is my favourite track. It truely truely feels at home with the game and the beach area, its smooth calm happy visual and colourful, never too much, catchy - congratulations.
Your mix is nicely balanced and levelled, I've got nothing to say except maybe some more love for the low ends, a bassy instrument or so, that feels like an empty space that could be filled.
Compared to some other tracks, I haven't got much to say, because it really truly feels like this song fits the theme WELL. It's exactly what I had in mind when I pictured the theme's vibe. Bravo !
