Description
Really playing with timbres and textures in this. I have really been experimenting a lot with Just intonation, pure tones, as well as the effect of overlaying a major and a minor third, especially in these pure intonations.

To achieve that strange sound, I sharped the minor third into a just minor third, and then singing a major third overtone about.

Composers like Ravel and Debussy make use of that contrast between the major third and minor third, treating the major third like an accidental while writing in Dorian mode.

Love the overtone singing! Sonically, this reminds me of some Divinity II: Original Sin tracks. Nice work!

Love the combination of those rich singing sounds with the gentle supporting instrument, really cool vibe :D good stuff!

Love that you're experimenting with microtonality! It's something so hard to get feeling natural (some of my favorite artists who do are Birdshite Stalactite and Zheanna Erose). Kinda mad I didn't think to mess around with microtonality this jam haha

Anyways this is really cool! Love the use of your instruments combined with the overtone throat singing, that's still so cool to me. Would really love to see you do something big and epic with these instruments and vocals sometime!

Really cool stuff, great work!

Microtonality would go great in the things you compose for sure, especially just sharping a minor third ever so slightly here and there with a mod wheel.

ohhh i love the atmospheric quality of this one. i am a reverb addict so i love hearing pieces like this that really let all those lingering note flavors wash around

That overtone is everything. Took me a while to really comprehend what was going on even after reading the description. Such an inventive and cool soundscape, loved this.

The use of the overtone singing was so cool, I havent heard that in music in a while!!! Super relaxing and atmospheric, but i do wish the low ends of the vocals were a bit more prominent

You always manage to get a great vibe and ambiance in your tracks! The live performance recordings really add a lot to it + great singing too!

The thumbnail you used for this and the OST Jam really fits the feel and ambiance I get from listening to this.

Stellar work!

Oooh, that overtone singing is so great addition to this track. Great atmosphere!

Cool use of some microtonal voice, I think with some bass hits from time to time it would expand the mood so much, I already like the atmosphere and with some low end in there, not too often just to mix things up can embelish everything imo.

That combined third sound is so good. My ear picked both of them up, they created a really rare sound and felt so good together. Overall textures remind me of some tracks from Nuclear Throne. Loving the overtones and overall Dorian sound. Great work!

The vocal layers are just mesmerizing over the dorian sound, very distinct sound with the sharped third, really cool stuff.
