I'm having the same bug, no doors at the satellite buildings

same here! I thought I did have doors at first, but when I next played the game they were gone. I wonder if it was turning off "use old server names" that did it - before I restarted, the computer terminals showed the correct nato alphabet names, but the signs on the building didn't, so maybe whatever changed the signs to match got rid of the doors at the same time.
(please disregard if no-one else noticed that pattern)

Same, no doors at any satellite since start of current save. All other doors (around the main base, for instance) are there. I never used "old server name" option, so I doubt it has anything to do with that.

I've also encountered this issue. New save made on version 0.7a  Played for awhile saved near a satellite and stopped playing for the night, loaded up my save the next day and the doors on all the satellites were gone. No other doors seem to be affected at the base or the bunker or anything like that.

Levitating mannequin

  • A mannequin is levitating on a pile of mannequins near the Uniform Tower

I saw this near Papa and Victor towers as far as I remevber. Maybe it's a kind of joke. I also saw other mannequins there after they disappeared from the base. They just lied on the ground near that levitating mannequin.  I think that they telport there after the story event. Anyway looks funny.

Kerfur bug 

I gave a piece of paper to Kerfur and sent him to get the reports, but if it persists in the middle of this process and move into the world, then he will just stand in one place and the piece of paper that I gave him will disappear.

Kerfur (non-omega) consistantly gets stuck on the curb outside the base if you have your garage closed. Possibly could add clip brush for them to glide over it, or add a little divot for ferfo to make their way through to the base?

I have to ask, Will the ramps be big enough that your atv can jump it?

There is a special path to the left of the main entrance that he can climb, but he ignores it. (Amega Kerfour, on the contrary, uses it)

Yeah ik, i could put a block for ai on some spots but it will affect ALL npcs, kerfurOs and other entities
Ill see if it can be fixed later, i dont know much about ai atm and ai is just wacky overall

Good afternoon, Dr. Nose,

I'm not sure if you have addressed this issue, but I have a few suggestions:

  • Personally, I'd try the "forced pathfinding at base" technique, which in short gives you the option to choose whether you want Kerfur/OmegaKerfur to use the main door or the garage (regardless of whether it's open or not), and based on that choice it will be forced to use one of the pathfinding options.
  • We would also welcome the addition of forced pathfinding around large containers, as on a few occasions he has bumped into them for a few minutes.
  • Finally, I would like to ask about the "upgradeable drone", whether it is in the plans or not.

On the first day, if you send a box with empty paper on it you get an email about daily task completion, but there shouldn't be any daily task on first day (ignore other emails, I just made a screenshot after I completed first week):

this looks like the only way to get weekly reward on first week

I think you are trying to run the executable itself from the desktop, but there is no VotV folder in the desktop. Try running the VotV.exe located in the WindowsNoEditor folder after you extract the game folder, or create a link to (path where you extracted votv folder)\WindowsNoEditor\VotV.exe file and run it

I don’t know if this is a bug or necessary, but I’ll write it. A lot of stylages spawned on one of the transformers. It's difficult to get there. Perhaps this is intended.

SPOILER ALERT: Game crashed. An event started on day 9 on 00:00 (I noticed I couldn't pause), I heard strange noises from outside, went there. There was nothing there. Noises started being louder as if something was approaching me and then game crashed. Eather arirals now have sounds and crash games or idk.

Sometimes I saw a message: saving error. And I couldn't save the game, and I couldn't pause too. 

This is most likely not tied to the event, but simply sometimes appears during the game at a random moment. I don't know however=)

Sending kerfus to fix servers makes him go to fix them for a second, then he comes back to the player and it claims that "kerfus cant find server" although there are broken servers, you gotta fix it..

started the game on the initial release of 0.7 at day 15 iirc, stopped playing at day 25 cus of the bug with the brownie event (event couldnt happen, the game wasnt saving or pausing for over a day), then continued that same save file on the new version with the hotfix [SPOILERS]: at some point had the event where the container falls from the sky in front of the facility that warns of the yellow spheres, some time after that (i wanna say on day 34 or 35-ish?) the giant yellow pyramid tripod came and ate all the yellow spheres, but then the same evening, after the giant tripod left, all the yellow spheres came back. it is day 36 and all the yellow spheres are still roaming the map. i may be misremembering from previous versions, but i thought the spheres were supposed to be gone after the pyramid absorbs them, so i thought i should report it as a bug. love the game, love the update, thanks for all the hard work <3

When I bought a coffee machine the plug spawned underground when the box broke and I can't get it out now

On the back of it (where the plug is coming from) there is a 'Retract' button that allows to get it back no matter where it is

i found this bug too but in 0.6.3b

I've heard of the doors disappearing but has anyone else had the entire tower disappear? I didnt take a screenshot but the tower vanished and all that was left was its platform with the props that were on the tower sitting on it. It returned when i reloaded the save but it was odd bug.

The ariral treehouse started on day 17 (was 27) and the campfire does not spawn and there is no rising smoke. Is this a bug or a change?

Others also experienced the entire tower dissappear, I don't know if that is an event or not, because I didn't had it dissappear myself yet, but it seem to happen at the same time as it loses connection

The treehouse appearing earlier is just a change, developer made it that all the events happen much more earlier, I think even the big pyramid appears on day 35 instead of 42, and I got the first triangle ship signal on day 7 instead of day 14 or 15

About the Tower Disappearing, Recently There was a meme about a 200ft Radio Tower That was stolen In Alabama, this may be on purpose. Either way, its Still Funny because How it looks like its referencing it.

Some minor things:

I have trouble with the fridge. There was a roach behind it and it was collising it making ragdoll noises, the doors were closing alone when opened. I moved the  fridge from its position to fix it and now I can't put it back.

Also when Kerfus returns to the base it sometimes gets stuck in the crub/elevation of the base causing a severe frame drop until moved.

Edit: I forgot to mention I have trouble with items dropping on the floor when pressing E instead of saving them to the inventory. I don't know what triggers it but reloading seems to fix it.

If you can't move the fridge just because its too heavy, try moving it with ATV (Grab ATV and push the fridge with it)

Kerf getting stuck on everything should be fixed in the next update I think

About items dropping on the floor: you mean pressing R, not E? Maybe your alt key got stuck, because ALT + R is drop item

I'm trying the ATV mothod to see if it works, the place is too narrow to do it by hand.

Sorry I meant the R button. You can see I'm not the only one with the problem, no alt key stuck, It happens at random.

That Dropping Thing Happened to me, I thought my alt key was stuck but i Triple check and it wasnt Stuck. It seems to happen randomly and possibly when you pickup paper (Rough Guess).

Some bugs I noticed (spoilers ahead):

Bug 1 - So, the white puffball mushrooms can just kind of... explode. My friend and I found this out on accident. Whenever they explode, they can leave behind growing puffball mushrooms (like those in the plant pots), which sometimes stack upon each other, leading to more exploding mushrooms, which makes them start to spread like a cancer. Those mushroom rings you can find around the map start to become infested with them.

Bug 2 - As mentioned by user "eggtouch", the yellow wisps/killer wisps still spawn after the pyramid arrives. However, they officially stop spawning once the Rozital Spider Scout things arrive.

Bug 3 - When attempting to nail/pin a paper to a wall in the main room (the signal room), if the paper falls it embeds itself in the wall. It can be grabbed out, but it's slightly frustrating.

Bug 4 - Was playing 0.7.0 (0006) today and for some reason this giant checkered gray box was in the garage, it didn't have any collisions so I could still walk around the garage, and after some time I came back to the base and it vanished; the ATV made a collision noise, the interior door to the garage opened, and there was an extra toolbox in the garage. Dunno what happened, but I also noticed that when copying this issue over to sandbox, the gray box vanished after deleting all foliage.

Bug 5 - This might have already been fixed in 0006, but I would like to make sure, but in 0005, drives could also explode, exclusively in the part of the signal terminals where you play signals; on rare occasions, attempting to extract a signal onto a drive in the slot would make it explode, sometimes even so much as inserting a drive into the slot would cause it to explode.

Bug 6 - When using the Sell Gun, some sold props will drop coins that give 0 points.

Bug 7? - Don't know if this is a bug or not, but I'm getting a lot of mushrooms spawning around my base. Don't know if the spawn rate for mushrooms was increased or if the animal skulls now boost mushroom growth or something, because I do have a lot of animal skulls in my base...

Bug 8 - On a related note, mushrooms can spawn in the river.

Bug 9? - Also don't know if this is a bug or just not implemented yet, but electronic trash cannot be turned into electronic scrap.

Bug 10 - Buckets have a tendency to just kind of... move through walls? Whenever I put a bucket in the utility closet, it always somehow ends up in the stairwell.

Edit: Bug 11 - I think the fully upgraded radar is starting to lag out the game. My game seems to drop 20 frames whenever I look at it.

Edit 2: Regarding above, it seems to have fixed itself? I'm not sure, might still want to look into that.

Edit 3: Nevermind, seems to be happening off and on.

White mushrooms are taken from real mushrooms that multiply by exploding, just explosion range for them there is set much higher

Yellow wisps remaining after big pyramid is intended, Rozital Spider Scout things are supposed to take the remaining ones

Drives exploding is probably intended, if drive gets damaged too much it will explode on use, to avoid players just throwing the drives around

I also noticed that the spawn rate for mushrooms it a lot higher, on 0.6.3 even after 30 days there just about 10 of them, but on 0.7.0 even on second week there is more than 40 mushrooms growing around, this is probably a bug, because I don't think the roof is supposed to be fully covered in mushrooms

Buckets moving through walls was a bug even in earlier version, I think they move only when player far away or on save & reload

I mean, yeah, puffball mushrooms "explode", but they don't literally combust in a violent explosion.

I hope the drives exploding isn't a feature, I'd prefer if all the things on my desk and in the surrounding area were not sent flying everywhere because of something random I can't control. :)

Got the same checkered box bug, though it won't go away. Showed up around day 23 and hasn't vanished yet.

Apparently it's related to an event. The Dupe Debug Test build fixes that bug, but it's an experimental version.

Indicated spot has no collision on the ground. Area is large enough for player to fall through, and deep enough that I had difficulty getting out before I grabbed some nearby trash and dropped it in the space. Allows access to a huge area under the map, not sure how large exactly but definitely out of bounds.

Unrelated to the attached picture: I can occasionally hear loud, rapid, metallic, clanging sounds in the base. It sounds like something is somehow getting stuck in the ground or a wall or whatever, freaks out for a few seconds, and then fixes itself only to happen again later. It seems to be coming from either somewhere on the second floor or somewhere out on the roof, but I can't find anything that is causing it. I don't think this is related to any specific event or entity, but someone else might know better than me. EDIT: Upon further investigation, I can hear the sound loudest--really annoyingly so--when standing in the main hallway, near all the doors to the break room, signal processing, etc. Going the second floor, it sounds somewhat quieter. I assume there is a gap between the two floors, just going by the slightly cracked grate in the ceiling of the signal room (please no spoilers if possible) so maybe it's coming from there.

So I'm around day 44 and the event with the mechanical orbs that shoot lasers at you that are using a bigger laser to dig into the big hole and I can not seem to save. I've been told I have to wait for them to leave after a couple of days, but I made it 3 days before I tried wandering back only to get shot and die. Is there a certain amount of days I need to wait, is there something I should be doing, for instance I had to interact with the holographic marker during the wisps event to re-activate saving but I can not for the life of me figure out what the heck I am supposed to do or if this is a bug of some sort? If it's a bug, that's cool it is an experimental build after all, but I feel I've tried everything from trying to kill them, to jumping into the laser,  nail gunning them, mass searching for signals and upgrading them, etc, so If I'm being an idiot PLEEEEASSE just spoil for me what to do so I can get back to decorating or tell me it's bugged so I can just put the game on hold until a later version comes out. Please and thank you. Also I created a thread for this bug, sorry I'm new to itch and didn't see this bug thread my bad.

I fell into the bottom of the hole and it teleported me to the beginning of the game, then the event was over. Try doing that. Avoid the yellow laser.

After receiving signal "THE END IS NEAR" and doing whatever needs to be saved, i eventually dying. No matter what, i get a thic "GAME OVER" screen.

Delete all copies on the PC.

i can confirm this one recently done the event myself and you cant "solve" it in any way be it deleting signal, wiping it, DESTROYING it etc does nothing, i 100% destroyed its trace and it still kills you perpetually soft locking you (experimental B)

I can't "grab" plugs, so I can't plug anything in! When I use the grab command the plug just doesn't move.

It is fixed in 0.7.0a, just update the game

Omega Kerfur doesn't fix servers. It runs off, gives two "Can't find a broken server" messages, comes back and tries to run off every few seconds if left untouched repeating the cycle

The outlet in the room above the garage doesn't seem to work

The key at tutorial level has become easier to take. Is this a bug or a feature?

Probably caused by changes in physics engine, I think developer rewrote the physics on C++ adding some changes to it and thats why some objects are easier to grab, because player physics were also affected (you can even see slight jumping when moving into a wall, which didn't happen on previous versions)

This one got stuck under the floor and I had to continuously turn it on and off until it hit a specific spot and turned over on it's side.

Not sure what caused this, but I think it's making this save unplayable as this generator steadily loses health due to collisions. Seemed to be like this when I got there. TR_1 Day 3

IIRC the filter mode also resets, so you need to cycle through them to find the correct one. I forget how the upgrade works for that, but that may be a cause

That was the cause. I am going to delete my post, since it was not actually a bug in the game. Thank you for your help.

1-Hello again just found an issue on this latest build, the option for "Player Physics Damage" in the experimental settings no longer disables receiving physics damage from objects (At least for the vending machines) however it does still work for fall damage. 


2-Just had a visual inventory bug involving the equipable backpack, I reloaded the game after dying & ordered some drives, the crate was delivered & I retrieved the drives to my inventory, walked into the control room & went to place the drives & couldn't see them in my inventory. I thought they might be in my backpack so I pressed the equipment tab in the inventory & was greeted with 2 grey circle icons (1 in the top left slot & 1 in bottom left slot) No backpack icon, I clicked the bottom left icon & the GUI flashed. Now the backpack icon was there in the top left slot, I closed out of the equipment tab back to the inventory & the drives were now visible.


3-Not sure if it's intentional but when closing the inventory with tab button, after either dropping, placing,  holding or storing an item in inventory it takes 2 presses of the tab button. but if using a container or not doing any of the previously mentioned actions while inventory closed it only takes 1 press of the tab button. Escape button doesn't share this same issue.


4-When using database on the computer, I click on a saved signal to view it, no problem there. However when I try pressing escape to exit the computer it doesn't work until I select another tab then it will allow me to exit the computer once more.


5-Not sure if this is necessarily a bug but earlier had sent a box of drives to be sold, they had not yet reached their destination when I met my untimely end at the hands of a vending machine (Statistically more dangerous than you might expect) upon reloading the game I found the box of drives was no longer in it's place but I was not given any points for the delivery. I thought maybe my save was further back than I originally thought so I dismissed this as me miss-remembering the time of my save & continued valuable research. the day passes & the time reaches 00:00 on the clock, The new daily report comes in. I notice the drone arriving so I meet it to collect what I was expecting to be a drive & an MRE delivered inside of a crate, but I was not greeted with the drone dropping a crate, instead it dropped a drive box containing the same drives that I sent to be delivered earlier before my untimely demise. -Not sure if this might be a factor at all but I have autosaves turned to 0 (I presume 0 to mean that the game will never autosave)


6-This isn't technically a bug but when the power goes out for the base, the point miner continues to operate despite there being no power. I mean I don't mind still getting free points while I'm out repairing transformers but I feel this might have just been overlooked which would be easy enough to do considering the complexity of the game *^-^*


7-I can't recall if this was already something that occurred in previous builds, I thought at first it was just something to do with the ATV but upon further inspection it seems that the terrain's collision map differs to it's texture

Disabling player physics damage also seems to not disable damage from elevator in the garage, this can kill you instantly if you jump on it from above even with disabled physics damage, and I don't think the elevator even supposed to damage you when you jump on it.

Bugs 2, 3 and 4 were in the previous versions too

Bug 5 is quite interesting because as I know any item that drone has when it delivers it always dissappears and gets replaced with a box at 0:00, I even noclipped to see that happen in previous versions, so it probably appeared in this version

7 is just a problem with visual terrain detail, low detail terrain texture different from high detail terrain texture, you can even see the terrain shifting when zooming in with X, not a bug with collision

I'd say maybe the elevator delivers damage according to collision speed as to deliver a small amount of damage to player underneath elevator.  which if true I find fitting to also add a coconut impact sound effect *^-^*

 Oh okay I don't recall #4 being an issue for me previously but to be fair I've rarely used the database so I'm probably forgetting.

-Do you know if the drone has a built in autosave system? like one which would temporary save the drone's contents in case of game crash or force close. (this function would work separately to regular game autosave, It would cache the drone contents on request) That same system unless directed to do otherwise might also function the same upon death/menu boot

Oh #7 is a rendering issue? & so do you mean if I change my settings for terrain to high it will fix that issue? or it's unrelated to the in game setting. I haven't tried. Is this only for the latest build or prior? 

Also do you know if there is plans in the future to make Kerfer avoid objects  realtime & not only the navmesh for map? I had to move a shelf away from the locker I store Kerfer in because they would continuously throw my belonging around because they are a silly clumsy goober smashing into my damn objects lol *^-^*

You can place an infinite amount of pages onto a drive box & it will just delete any pages added after the first.

I don't know if drone has autosave, but my guess is that it is a problem with delivery queue system on reload. There is also still a bug with box visually dissapearing on reload if drone didn't pick it up yet that I think came from previous versions, this could also be connected

I don't think there is a setting for terrain resolution, I think it selects it automatically based on hardware, because I seen other people get this issue and they all had an old graphics card

I got in the exact same place where you were and still couldn't replicate the issue (I tested it on RTX 4070Ti):


I don't think realtime navigation for kerfur or any other entities will be ever a feature, because updating the entire navmesh if any object moved is extremely slow, and the game has extremely large map that will probably take about 10 minutes to calculate navmesh for. Alternative to updating the entire navmesh will be pathfinding, but that will require recalculation every 5 to 10 seconds or so to actually make it avoid moving into objects that moved into its way, this will get very inefficient on many entities.

I checked if you can put more papers on a drive box, and yes, this is most likely a bug from 0.7.0. I also noticed that if you put an empty paper on a box and take it back there will be a text "hi :)" in the paper, which is used when the text couldn't load

What is your FOV set to? mine was near max. I found that if I put FOV back to default this problem goes away. The more I increase FOV the more it distorts, Also it's affect goes away when you zoom.  I would say yeah this problem may only occur on older graphics cards, I'm currently using an ancient NVIDIA Quadro K2200.

But on the other hand if that were to be the case, why does this only occur in select areas? It's not only a matter of viewing angle or terrain angle as you can see here in this picture with even more angle but barely any visual issue ;o

Surely implementing object evasion into a Kerfer on a very basic level could be viable especially if only done for Kerfer entities & no other. You don't need a system that is constantly ticking & updating, You could use something like a raycast or cone trigger infront of Kerfer which if it hits certain whitelisted physics props (Primarily bigger objects) it then enables the evasive pathing mode, Sets timer for say 1.5 seconds, The timer disables pathing & return Kerfer to initial task. -Kerfer has single handed been the most destructive entity for me so far they have no respect or boundaries. T^T

-Also this shouldn't ever be an issue for any normal human, But I found that by nailing Kerfer's plug to the ground prongs facing up then retracting it, Then trying to pick up the plug for some reason the plug teleported up through the roof turning Kerfer into the world's first robotic piñata, & to make it even more amusing is as I took the screenshot I was simultaneously traumatized by my first sleep demon #0.0# (initial frames of him appearing just to the left of Kerfer) -Ignore my test subject to the right.

I checked the same place with terrain rendering issues again with FOV set to 130 degrees and now I can see it too:

so it is definitely not related to hardware, just a bug caused by game thinking that player is farther away when on high FOV and loading low quality terrain map instead of normal

Kerfur (standart, not omega) does have some type of object detection, because it is constantly jumping when stuck on something, so I think it will be better to replace the jumping by moving to the side until the path is free again, for example if there is a wall in front of it and it can't jump over it will just follow the right or left side of this wall until it can reach its target without intersecting this wall

Also I couldn't get the bug with plug teleporting anywhere, when I try to nail it to the ground and retract it it just starts flying around, I also tried it with smaller objects like a microwave, and it also does the same thing, but I noticed that after retracting it nails still remain flying in the air following the microwave:


Oh I think you're right on it with that one as when you zoom it loads higher res & Clicks back to normal.

I feel Kerfer has something along the lines of:  Go to x,y,z -If pathing & Velocity is <below certain threshold = Jump.  However if you are correct then it would be an extremely viable solution to create a system like you mention, Also fairly easy when you're speaking on a basic level of just moving Kerfer around an object & not completely re-pathing them 

Although, A great addition to a Navmesh (Like what I suspect MrDrNose would be using for his entity's navigation) -Would be one of a few different avoidance methods, I found this awesome official UE4 Doc which details such systems & Their implementations & Purposes. It's a lot but I feel it would be very possible to implement & Incorporate something like this to the existing systems (If they are what I assume)

Also, I haven't been able to test it out but the nails I used were specifically the axle nails which will most likely make a big difference. I even had one of the green garbage bins just clipping through a wall in a circle. But the Kerfer plug incident was extreme in comparison & A lot harder to recreate. The floating nail should move in conjunction to the plug  *^-^*

                                        

So after a sleep Kerfur (usual one) got stuck under floor in server room. Such things are pretty common with most of the objects, so I'm not complaining here. But would be good to consider some debug option in order to respawn/delete/refund your robotic friend. Amazing and outstanding project btw, I love it no matter the issues I encounter! Found some disturbing sound jumpscare that appears only near garage door, also  "they arrive" story event started in garage at day 13(same garage door, just turned behind garage door, and these 3 aliens just spawned near me, nearly died from heart attack D:)

I am using version 0.6.3 and encountered this bug. When trying to interact with consoles or door panels an error occurs. The error sound is played and the interface resets. That is, I go to the console and press "E", console screen begins to approach, but not approaching to the end,  back minimizes. At best I can connect 1 time in a couple dozen attempts. Very annoying.

Good evening, I have already downloaded the game on all possible versions, it’s still the same, if this is some kind of problem not related to bugs, sorry. In general, I download the game, go in and start training, and that’s it. This is what he writes "node graph is out of date restructuring"

Click "Regenerate data.sav" in settings, it should solve this problem

It appears that the mop is broken. It doesn't clean.

The mop works fine for me. You might be looking at the uncleanable dirt and grime that is part of the base texture and not a separate overlay. (Hoping that changes in the full build) 

No, it's broken. I'm not confusing the textures for the removable grime. The sponge will clean what the mop can't.

adding on to what was already said, the mop doesn't work for me either so now I've just spent 300+ on a worse broom

Yeah, since I made this comment I realised how useless the mop is now. Not only does it take 6 passes to clean a dirty spot (instead of the 5 previously) - but the sponge cleans everything much more efficiently now when you grab and drag it, compared to how it was prior to 0.7.0.

I can't seem to change my resolution in 0.7.0a. Even changing to the lowest resolution (356x???) clicking apply, closing and reopening the game does nothing. I'm playing in 2560x1440 and in the config file all the reso lines are 1920x1080.

use'd the map thingy and go to 175 : -450 as the letter say'd but after digging for some min, still couldn't get the box for the fishing rod
the map with all the entity also stop showing the logs next to the image

Finally decided to try out this game. I actually intended to do it once I finish Celeste 64, but that ended up happening just after the drama occurred \(-_-)/

Anyway, there are a few bugs:

  • After I start a game, sometimes the menu (on pause and main) stops being interactable.
  • If I press Alt+Tab after I start a game, the game's resolution switches to 1920×1080. The menu becomes interactable again but I can't change the resolution back because the Apply button becomes out of reach.

I recommend making the menus navigable using the keyboard, even if these bugs get fixed.

I'm currently messing around in the tutorial rooms until I get the hang of the controls. Computer's a bit slow, especially with all the fullness of it and low memory :P

Я нашел наверное баг, включая версию 0.6 и 0.7, у меня 2 компьютера с Windows 10 Enterprise, и на них не работает взаимодействие с HUD 'ом компьютера на любой версии игры, просто ничего не нажимается, колесо не крутит страницу. Когда запустил на другом компе с Windows 10 Home там HUD работает как надо.

- Can't put GPU boards into the frame thing, it outputs "not enough slots" even though there's no GPU boards in it. (don't know if this is a bug, or if I just don't know how to use the thing.)

- Buckets have water in them after you hold and place them on the ground (they also teleport into walls and objects)

- The 2nd ariral signal outputs an image of the old base (maybe intentional?)

As for the point miner, You need to craft metal scrap at a workbench out of metal trash, Then use it on the frame to add a GPU slot.  

Bucket bugs have already been reported

about signals, just not changed rn(how the heck you see images of old base, if signal using current map? maybe you mean cring signal?)

I did, but it rebuilt the node and i still had my saves just fine.

Not sure if someone already said it, but I think not.

I have noticed 2 weird bugs.


1. Backpack items dissapeared as son as I placed them in it.
I mean, the items were in the backpack, but I cant take them out. I know they are there because the volume is almost full.



2. For some reason, every time I try to fix a server, the "minigame" starts automarking, in the first line, the 2 as result. Making me to exit and enter again until one of the operations is equal 2. Otherwise I cant progress.  Unless I sent Kerfur to fix it XD

EDIT! This ONLY happens if I bind the use key to Lateral Mouse 2 (one of the side keys on the mouse) If it is binded back to E, or even Side Mouse, it doesnt happens.



Also, anyway to reset the time record???? I noticed that beating the time gives you extra points. But when you get your bests at 2nd or 3th try...

I have 2 radios and when i use one to play a song it plays on the other radio I'm not using  and sometimes it works properly but leaves the other radio i have broken and when used instead plays songs again on the other radio.

1) gravity gun doesnt charge in microwave (i think it should charge because of blue lightning by this)

2) event when rozitals drilling on bottomless hole doesnt ends, i cant sleep and save game because of this (saw this on other post but only once)

3) once i save&load with drive in slot on downloading, it cant be placed and i cant check if get it out and save&load again it can fix it, but i cant focking fix it because of bug #2

4)somehow of of my drawers got stuck on table and i donk know how i did it and how to grab it again

5)  disk rack got bugged and i cant aim to the drive in it to take it

I don't have a file for you. I would prefer to explain it first and see if that is enough. It was a reliably repeatable version of the Dupe of items. Every time you use the hook and attach to the ceiling (because you need to fall far) and release, let go, or just break free you dupe an item in your inventory. specifically whatever item was in you first slot or next to the hook in your hot bar. when you hit the ground, the item is laying on the floor next to you and still in your inventory. The hook was almost exclusively left in the ceiling.  I am not in the habit of sending out files on my PC to new people. So sorry about that for now.

Found this bug when serching for rubber trash.First time it just ate my things(like map and other trash on a video).Day 4-5,history, 0.7b [DOWNLOAD FOR UR RISK]

Version 0.7.0 b. In the inventory, all items were multiplied by 4. There was one crowbar, one shovel, one disk, and so on. And after rebooting, I realized that the character couldn’t put anything in his inventory. It turned out he was overloaded.

In pa07_0008 there seems to be a glitch that duplicates the items found in the inventory and in the mailbox. If a save file is saved and entered again, all of the items will be doubled. I'm not sure what causes it, but the save was created in a prior version of pa07. Also, would request a button to clear the mailbox of all items without entering a save. as it's currently at 17000/10000 and causing some lag.

Hello, except for the last photo, my first message, a problem happened, I have almost no events going on, no evil sun, no emergency situations, just a picnic and a house in the forest

To clarify, I want to say that I updated the versions, but there was only one save

red arrows not showing up on the signal locator no matter how many times I press shift nothing is happening, I have checked to see if it was a keybind issue by resetting my crouch key from shift back to Ctrl and that didn't fix the issue, I'm not really sure how to showcase this bug but it's definitely there and I have also tried creating new saves and even tried in the tutorial level multiple times to no avail.

atv straight up despawns when reloading a save and the atv is outside of the base every save I have it always happens weather because I die or because I forgot but when the save gets reloaded and the atv is outside the base it's gone forever. When atv is in base it doesn't despawn when reloading. 

Password changer no longer works on bunker door lock

This one might or might not be a bug but I'm gonna report it anyway just in case it is bug. Everytime I get the hash codes I double check they are correct and yet everytime I have sent out the drives with hash codes I get emails saying ive not completed the report, this has happened every single time I send out the drives with the hash codes attached 

Do you use the report template?

I logged into the game for the first time, created a slot, but I can't log in to it: a warning appears as when starting the game, and returns to the menu

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but I discovered a bug in the newest version (0.7.0b2).

I skipped the version which came right before this one, and went straight to 0.7.0b2, and now all of my satelite towers have two sets of doors. I presume this is because I skipped 0.7.0a

I'm on 0.7.0a right now, and one of my Kerfur's have disappeared. Just gone, entirely. I had him in the hallway just behind the front door, and when I reloaded a save, he was gone. 500 points gone to waste. I hope this is something you can look into. Maybe a bad spot for objects or something? 

When will be Alpha?  And will it happen at all?

У меня в игре нет звука при высокой частоте дискретизации(32бит 384кгц). Я использую внешний ЦАП shanling UA2, при 24бит 44.1кгц все работает, но такое я заметил уже в нескольких инди играх. Я бы добавил уведомление в игру, что пользователям, использующих высокую частоту дискретизации нужно понизить её, если у них нет звука. Спасибо за внимание.

Every time I re-join into the game all items in my inventory doubles. Now I have 4 hammers, 8 brooms, sixteen batteries and many more don't know why it's happening

Bugs I've run into so far is:
-Two doors in the doorway leading into the satellite server room

Not sure if bug, but.... I didnt get the picnic event.
I get the picnic cloth, but no items, no nothing else.
Next I get is the treehouse. I dont know if I might missed it somehow.

All the events happen early in 0.7.0, so you probably just missed it

In addition to the common "satellite room doors disappeared" problem in 0.7.0a, I've discovered a game breaking glitch: all screens and LED lights (on server banks, security keypads) are black.

In other words, I can't seen anything on the screens, but I can type in a target command and watch the compass arrow move. Reloading doesn't help, it's part of the save.

Immediately prior to this, I saved game outside (near November) and when I reloaded, all screens and LED lights were "off".

It kinda ended my game right there. No way to search for signals.

if you sit with 0 sleep (mb only at computer?) it will bug ur sleep and u cant sleep even if u rejoin

Was playing and when I tried to go to bed it would wake me up and tell me that I was "sensing something", but I could still pause and save so the event thing keeping me from doing that didn't seem to be active. It would persist and I was having to regain energy through sodas. I was trying to use that debug stuff with the "Numpad ." input, but that lead to me getting put into the backrooms area.

When I alt+f4 out and got back into the save, I was able to sleep again, but when waking up it teleported me to a post on the staircase outside the base. Opening and closing the menu did the same, as did looking at a paper. Then it sent me back to the backrooms place. I then deleted that save and made a new one, ran to the base, looked at the paper on the wall outside the front door, and was teleported to the same spot on the stairs. And then eventually sent to the backrooms.

Not sure what the issue is, but it is an issue.

I keep getting a reply to my Daily's that I'm not sending enough drives. They'll ask for 3 level 3, I'll send 3 level 3, but they'll say I didn't send enough drives. It sucks because story-driven drives will go unnoticed at times. 

Some songs on the radio have endless loading

I can't insert the disc into any of the slots, I'm not quite sure, but it happened when I pulled out the disc without saving the improved signal on it, and after that I couldn't insert it back, I didn't find any solutions on the internet, quitting the game didn't help in the end. I can't complete the task, and the saddest thing is that I haven't found the evil signal yet(


Broken data.sav

Just want to mention before anything further;

  1.  I am able to access my original save file with my upgrades and points intact. 
  2. No assets have saved in my base. Bought items i.e. (Kerfur) and crafted items i.e. (Scrap) are gone. 
  3. Assets moved such as curtains and racks are gone and back in their default locations.
  4. Dirt and Rubbish I'd cleaned have respawned everywhere 

My original save before the issue I hadn't cleaned every spot on the map I'm aware of the clean dirt and rubbish options but don't want to take away from the experience by removing all dirt and rubbish everywhere for areas unexplored but also having to redo all the cleaning I spent hours doing so it's a tricky situation.

Info & Troubleshooting

After having a PC issue and having no choice but to restart (this has happened multiple times with no issues upon re-launching) I had no game audio and the main menu was extremely pixelated. Furthermore, the options settings had everything set to 0. The tutorial wouldn't load properly so I couldn't test my main save. After backing up my original save data files and reinstalling the game I worked out that the data.sav file was causing this issue and I haven't been able to work out the reason for this.

On top of this putting my original save back into the files after deleting the original data.sav and re-launching (creating a fresh data.sav) when choosing my save the Purple and Black Error image is displayed on my save and the warning about the save being built on a different game version shows up. This isn't the case the game has been running on 0.7.0 since I installed it, around 2-3 days ago.

I've attempted to edit the .sav files and compare what's different between the two to see what specifically could be causing the issue but unfortunately I couldn't access or edit the files and I don't know of any other ways to do this besides saveeditoronline.com (Unsupported file format apparently)

That's as much detail as I can add from what I've attempted, really enjoying the game and completely understand it's in alpha so these things are to be expected but hopefully this may help quell the issue so nobody else has it in future.

I have only been playing for a couple days so if some things I mentioned are meant to be the case I apologise for confusing it for being an error etc!





I'm have a recurring event happen; 2nd play through and I'll have all the baggable trash respawn throughout the base and my custom assets have been forcefully replaced by troll face. Is this a joke to intentionally break my stuff or?..

I'm unsure if this is an issue exclusive to me or it's just a system error, but I've had the game corrupt my save files twice, both times I failed to backup prior. I didn't have this issue on the previous build, but now I can't really progress past the first few hours of the game without my save being gone once I decide to close the game.

If it helps identify the issue, I can further detail what my routine was up until file corruption in  reply.

i cant click the quit button in the pause menu?? (i have to close the game to exit the pause menu and the game itself and i have no idea why)

So im new to the game i got somethings like notebooks, food, etc then the next time i load the save everything out of my inventory is the same but every single thing in my inventory disappeared i have very low food and i dont want to die what should i do.

Edit: After posting this i went back to my game and everything was back was it just loading in or is something else happening,

for some reason, when i tripped with a nailed object, one of the nails float in mid-air. i can't interact with it, and i can't grab it with the gravity gun. (also if it helps, i'm in sandbox mode)
