Love the PS1 style, great work!

That was amazing, I can't believe this was made in a jam! Definitely plays and looks like something out of the PS1 era.

This is absolutely amazing, even more amazing it was made in a week. The atmosphere, animation, and art is top-notch! It emulates the PSX style so well. It had me so incredibly on edge just slowly stepping through the ocean floor. The only thing stopping me from getting even more scared was that the gun was so powerful that you can just spam them and also the shark animation breaking and taking me out of the experience a bit. Still really unnerved me with the environment and just general presence of the sharks though.

Pretty great! Great job feeling very nostalgic, like a game that maybe minus the water refraction shader could have just been lost media. I found the camera control or lack thereof pretty frustrating at times, definitely went and got the second gun, turned around, and went straight back to the start by accident. Never liked anything resembling tank controls back when they were contemporary and still don’t like them now, nor am I a big horror game person (my scarred, jaded, game developer mind can’t help but see past the veil), so I think this is very much not for me genre wise. Like, I would love to be able to move about three times as fast and either lean into the lack of camera control or give us a normal third person camera, I think being more fluid would actually make it a more tense and engaging… but that would certainly detract from the retro feel and pacing that feels like an intentional artistic choice.

Personal tastes aside, this is a really great entry overall, good work :)

I really loved the OG Playstation feel to it! The atmosphere and lighting were really well done, and the floating bodies were suuuuuper creepy. Lots of potential with this, great work!

I'm super impressed with this! This is one of the most complete games I've played in a jam and I've played a lot.

I like the game . It feels like Ps2 horror game set under water . I am just not a fan of horror games

Great game, a little bit wonky movement. Great underwater feeling, and art. Tutorial text a little bit too long, so skipped some of it, and then cuz of that got lost later in the game.

In such a short amount of time, you succeeded to make a very unsettling game in the best way possible. Great work!

I'm sorry, but this does not belong here... it belongs in the PSX Hall of Fame! Great experience overall, ambientation is top-notch thanks to the art and sound design and the controls add to the helplessness of being underwater. The only thing keeping me from enjoying this more is me being a giant chicken lol. Amazing work, congrats!

I mean, what is there to say? I think the least interesting part of the game is that it's a shooter. Not because of the implementation, but because how much potential this game has as a horror game. I suppose you could argue that it's a survival horror type game, a spiritual successor to dino crisis perhaps. But I can't help but think how great this game would be if it was fully released as a pure horror game. I'm really smitten with it. Everything is top notch. Would totally buy.

Thank you for the compliments ^^ Dino Crisis was actually one of the main inspirations for this game :D

I tried to go on a more Action Horror approach, but I just love making tense and horrific atmospheres that the end result will always be slightly more horror :3

I m happy you enjoyed my game ^^

This is so un-smooth in the most perfect PS1 way. Love the rotate and forward/backward control scheme. Great job !
